It seems like an insurmountable challenge. One review a day? Every day? Forever?! Are you crazy, Turtle Lady?
So calm down a little bit and I'll share with you some tips that might make your turtle journey easier.
1. Turtle Time
If you work well on a schedule or want to try to do so, why not choose a specific time every day where you can sit down and write your daily review? If you're into cheesy things like me, you can even actually call it your Turtle Time!
2. Big Bites and Small Bites
It can be hard to make involved and detailed reviews day after day. Take care of yourself! Be aware of the caliber of pieces you choose to review. Find a shorter, easier piece for one day so you can have the energy to tackle a bigger piece the next.
3. Tracking Thread
Scenario: It's July 15th and you're not sure if you've done your review for today or not. You also can't remember if you managed to get your review completed yesterday. In fact, you're not quite sure how many reviews you've done this month! Are you even really a turtle!?
Avoid scary scenarios like this by keeping a tracking thread in our Club Turtle forum. Make a post with the link and the date of your review every day, and you'll never have a memory crisis again.
4. Turtle Buddies
Are you the type of turtle that needs a kind tap on the shell to remind you to keep moving? Find a designated turtle buddy to watch your back and express mild turtle-y surprise when you haven't yet finished your daily review.
5. Planning Ahead
Sometimes, the sun just doesn't come out. If you see clouds in the forecast and know your blood temperature will be too low to complete a review every day this week, plan ahead. Do seven reviews on Monday or split your effort between two days. Make it easy on yourself.
