Day 1 was a disaster. Work all day, basketball practice at night. There was no time to write. However, I did manage to get in 120 words in somehow. At least I got something done.

Day 2 was a lot better. Apparently it helps when you're off work and have all day free to write :3 I caught up a lot. Also, all of my main characters have now been introduced to the story so I feel much better about where it's going.

Day 3 went well. Of course I forgot to post here >.> I started on chapter 2 and it just doesn't seem to be keeping up to par with chapter 1. Maybe I'm just second guessing myself. Anyway, I'm looking forward to chapter 4 because that's when the story really picks up. I didn't get so much writing done today because I was less than motivated.
Oh, I wrote the first meeting between Puk and Leta (the two love interests) and it was fantastic :3

Day 4. I did the writing thing :3 Oh, Puk and Leta are in the middle of their second interaction and I'm loving every bit of it. They're perfect for each other, in that dysfunctional way that makes you go "Huh?" xD

Day 5. I got a lot of writing done today, much more than I have since we began. I also wrote the first chapter from Leta's POV (I'm switching throughout) and it really calmed my nerves. I thought I would be pushing it by adding her voice in there, but it fits perfectly. This is going much better than I expected

Day 6. I have reached the dreaded third chapter, that one that never fails to trip me up, and it's really giving me a hard time. I know what's going to happen in chapter 4, but I have to get through this one first. I blame the kids I babysit.
There's no reason to blame them, I just need someone to blame...

Day 8. I actually got a lot written today, which is surprising seeing as I was out all day. I finally got chapter 3 done, which was a struggle for some reason. Now I'm moving on to the next chapter and everything's back to how it should be.

Day 9. I've been writing things, but everything I write just seems less and less interesting and just overall terrible. Maybe I just have to get past this rough patch.

Day 10. Something is better than nothing I guess. I don't know why I'm struggling so bad to write this, but it's not helping my word count. I promised myself I wouldn't fall behind this round of nano and I can see that promise slowly slipping away. Oh well. Maybe an epic writing day tomorrow will help me.

Day 11. Thanks to an insane amount of word sprints, I managed to catch up on my word count and actually go over. This chapter really seems to be going well and I just had a sudden burst of inspiration. I'm just hoping the inspiration will stick around a bit longer.

Day 12. I actually didn't start writing until about an hour ago. Once I got started though, I was off. It's amazing how you can have absolutely no idea what's going to happen next one day and then the next have all of these wonderful ideas. I will never understand the writing process. Oh well, as long as it gets my chapters done ^_^

I wrote nothing. Maybe a sentence and a half. I hate being busy. -
Day 15. I guess I didn't write anything that day either.
Day 16. Actually found time to write today, even though I was out running errands like a crazy person. My word count for today is probably not accurate as to what I actually wrote today, but my word counts from the previous days were so minuscule there's no use recording them.
I'm only a few thousand away from being halfway to my goal!! I'm aiming for 40k, which I know I'll hit, and I know I'm going to end up going over. So far I'm not even halfway through the plot. All of these scenes I have planned out can't happen until a million other things happen. We'll see what my final word count ends up being :3
Also, everything I'm writing sounds super forced and I'm starting to hate it. I'm so in love with my two main characters though that I can't even think about quitting or taking the plot a different direction. Happy NaNo to me ><
