   crossroads

   Do tell me if there's a better idea for the title :p
   
   So, it goes like this.. One person posts a classic stereotype, like:
   
   "The dwarfs - short, angry, bearded, into axes"
   
   And the next person needs to come up with the idea to change that. He/she doesn't need to change everything, but should add some originality to it. Sounds good enough?
   
   You can use the stereotype I used above ^^ :3

   A friend and I were going to make a world were the dwarfs were the wisest creatures in the land and everyone went to them for advice. They were the advisors at court and made up the teacher work force of the country.

   Ooh, great idea!
   
   I think Fairies should be more blood-thirsty than most people make them. Like, instead of glittering, giggling, and flitting around in slutty clothes (not a big fan of Tinkerbell), they should use their magic and stealth to spy on people. They could be awesome little agents, gathering intelligence, assassinating people, all that.
   
   Dragons- hormonal, childish, and greedy.

   What if there was a nice Dragon, living in a big house offering lodging to weary travelers? And no, he doesn't eat them while they sleep, but he gives them breakfast when they get up.
   
   Santa (No, not Satan.) - A kind old man who gives away toys, and sometimes coal, at Christmas.

   The bags under Santa's tired eyes have gotten larger with each passing lifetime. While he's making his list and checking it twice, the arthritis in his hand acts up once again, making him a grouchy old elf. Not to mention listening to each generation children, each bunch being more greedy and self-centered than the last. He needs a vacation.
   
   Vulture - Grotesque, sinister, and a sign of death.

   Vultures could be a symbol of recycling and regeneration, as they eat the waste of the dead, leaving room for life anew.
   
   Potatoes - tasty, delicious, easy to cook, and the primary food of the poor Irish.
