You Know You're a Whovian When...

34 posts in this topic.

  1. Fill in the blank! What's a reason you know that you're a true Whovian?
  2. You wait outside in your tardis ear hatwaiting for the doctor to show up. :D
  3. You play 'pick the actor who has been in Doctor Who' when you watch other TV shows or a movie.
  4. I have several ways:

You are filled to the brim with excitement when an old enemy of the Doctor's returns, and wait every season for an appearance of the Master.

You are afraid of being alone with a statue, and find yourself staring at it; being wary of every blink you make.

You actually find the patience to watch some of the old black-and-white doctor who episodes.

You marvel at every Doctor Who merchandise you see.

You argue over which of the Doctor's companions is the hottest. (I'm guilty of this one.)

You re-watch the season finale four times in one day. (Yet another I confess to.)

Whenever you hear a stranger mention Doctor Who, you want to immediately bond with that person and say that you watch it too.
  5. You are excited for a whole day before a new episode.
Or if you watch repeats and you still find them interesting.
You make sure NO ONE talks during an episode or I'd someone says doctor who you start conversing with them.
And lastly,if you feel the doctors pain and feel like you know him,and bond with him and that you will never ever give up on him,no matter how hard things get.
  6. You constantly worry about telepaths eother reading your mind or using you as their human slave.
  7. You're terrified of forgetting why you walked into a room, losing that things you're holding in your hand, or anything of that nature.

You know with certainty that the monster in your closet is real.

You won't touch crayons for fear that they will come to life and suck the world into your paper.

You avoid Christmas in London at all costs.
"Eggs" are only the beginning of your descent into a murderous rampage.

Flickering lights send you running, screaming in terror.

People with gas are indescribably evil, for reasons other than the obvious.
  8. When you talk for over half an hour with complete strangers at the mall because they noticed your Doctor Who shirt. You have your friends over for season-finale-watching parties including fishsticks and custard for dinner that were somehow just sitting there in the pantry (it actually was pretty good, if you can believe that). The first thing you bought when you got your first debit card was a sonic screwdriver. You bought your friend a mini statue of liberty and moved it closer and closer to her while she wasn't looking throughout the day to freak her out. I couldn't sleep when I visited New York because I was afraid I'd wake up in the sixties or with the statue of liberty behind me. When you've joined the Doctor Who storybook. When you plan to shout both Geronimo and Alonsy when you go to summer camp and go down the zipline.
  9. When you go to Connecticon (an anime convention in my state) dressed as the Doctor and refuse to answer to anything but "Doctor".

When you have various dramatic monologues memorized that you perform at various intervals in dramatic spots (the top of a very tall stair case where the entire convention center can see you..).

When use your sonic screw drive and a piece of psychic paper to get yourself into a TARDIS that is roped off to anyone that isn't an employee... and it works.
  10. You cry when you hear the name Amy pond, you can say raxacoricalphallaphatourios < yeah I spelt it wrong and the. Highlight of your week is doctor who. Oh, and also instantly connecting with people who loves doctor who ;)
  11. When you watched it as a small child, but all the inappropiate stuff went way over your head.

When you always keep a pair of mirrored sunglasses on you just in case you see an angel statue.

When you want to paint every door TARDIS blue.

When you name your cat after a companion.

When frost all your cookies to look like Doctor Who characters and props.

When you have more than one (and can remeber every one) Doctor Who T-shirt.

    You debate buying a fez.

You know how to write in New Galifreyan.
  12. You write a letter to the Doctor in lipgloss on your computer screen hoping he will get it on his psychic paper crash the tardis in your backyard and let him stay in your room in a sleeping bag become your social studies teacher and on holidays and on your birthday and vacations take you for trips on the tardis and have adventures.

Yes I am a major whovian and dreamer and am crazy.
  13. You are sad when jack dies even though you know he is coming back.
  14. You turn everytime you hear an engine.
  15. You have a bag packed in case the Doctor shows up.
