So, I was working on a new season of Doctor who here's what I've got so far. Tell me what you think.

Doctor Who Pitch
Amber Smith- new companion or new Timelord?
The Doctor and River's daughter. Born on new earth, the 52th century and was stolen from the hospital several days later by the Daleks. Not too long later, she was saved by the Doctor and River and turned human to hide. The Daleks needed her because they planned to use her time powers to help predict time. Anyway, she gets away. She's adopted by Haley and Ed Smith and she lives a normal seventeen years as a senior at a normal high school. BUT! That's not where this story begins.
February 19, 2016. After a sting of disappearances at Water-brook High School Amber, the senior journalist of the school paper, investigates the connections behind the missing girls, only to find the inside scoop of a lifetime. The Doctor is investigating the disappearances too. After a surprise run-in with an alien man and a kidnapping Excanian assassin, this senior decides that these girls' only hope is for her to stick close to the Doctor. Following the trail of amphibious goo to an abandoned warehouse, the two find their missing girls in (cliché) goo sacs. After letting the girls go they confront the assassin about why he is doing this only to find that he was given instructions to find the 17-year-old human who matched a specific DNA sequence he was given by an unknown patron. A sequence that looks significantly similar to a sample taken from her. After trying to take Amber to "the patron" Alwen, the amphibious mercenary, is blown up. (Gotta love the self-destruct button) She then manipulates the Doctor into allowing her to join him on his search for "the patron"
But life in the TARDIS is not all running and explosions. The Doctor finds it hard trust Amber as she seems to be able to follow most of his over-complicated explanations and she seems to have a certain violent streak when it comes to her vs. any alien threat. She feels it's easier to just "Blow it up Doctor!" The Doctor can not help but to be a little concerned for what she'll become. He can see his younger self reflected into her, so full of violence and no forgiveness. He tries to make her see forgiveness, but there's a problem. She doesn't trust him either.
Amber and the Doctor run into ghosts haunting one of Houdini's seances. Only to find that one of his customers can bring back the dead. But what will that do to the Time-space continuum? Will he be able to kill this ghost off for the sake of the world? Will he be able to let Amber to do it?
A reoccurring nightmare of the doctor keeps her awake at night. And one night when she asks his opinion about these dreams she falls unconscious due to a new threat. The espirit, a creature that lives in the consciousness of any mind. Paid by the patron, he has taken control of her mind, forcing her to sleep until he can assume control of her motor cortex. River appears just in time to help the Doctor figure out what is wrong with her, only to find that Amber IS hiding something that even she didn't know. Her family looks nothing like her, she has small amounts of residual memory in her nightmares, her birth certificate says her birth parents are John Smith and Melody Pond, and she has a fob-watch around her neck. Amber is a Timelord, only not yet. Once they figure this out they have no choice but to keep it secret from her. Only with that conclusion they've given the espirit enough time to control Amber's body. Using it he forces the new parents into a dead end. Only he makes a mistake, he realizes the TARDIS is alive. He trues to assume control of it only to find himself sucked into the Time Vortex. Threat resolved.
Amelia Earhart and a flying lesson. Good idea or bad idea? Number one rule don't fly over the Bermuda triangle. Number two rule, don't let Amber fly over the Bermuda triangle. Amelia, Amber, and the Doctor having been stranded in the triangle due to it's magnetic pull. What secrets do the triangle hold? Along with survival without the TARDIS, the Triangle holds a lost Timelord technology. While inspecting the remains of what ever grounded their flight the Doctor realizes that there is a rogue, damaged, type 69 TARDIS keeping them here. They'll have to travel into the depths of the Triangle to disarm this technology, but does this team know what they're getting into. When the TARDIS starts to look for a pilot it chooses Amber because she has no ship. But can she fly the broken ship, or will she be forced to destroy it?
As River's expectancy day comes closer and closer the Timelords prepare for battle. They find the most secure hospital on New earth and search far and wide for anyone with any idea of who exactly they should be expecting. But nothing could prepare them for the Dalek ship besieging the hospital. Baby Amber is taken then River, Future Amber, and the Doctor come aboard to save her. Only they're caught seconds after leaving the TARDIS. The Daleks explain their evil plan and the Timelords fight their way to the TARDIS. Then in a desperate turn of events, Amber is forced to distract the Dalek soldiers. She opens the Fob watch the Doctor forbade her from opening unless it were life or death.
Once the Amber's are safe and River is gone to make sure that the Daleks don't find where she's hidden, Amber decides to ask the Doctor something important. How long he knew she was a Timelord and to leave to explore the Universe on her own. He gives her a Vortex manipulator and allows her to go out on her own, as long as she pops by once in a while.
On her own, Amber has become tougher and more of a punk. She's investigating a string of murders at a private high school, only knowing that it's one of the teachers. She goes undercover as a student and meets a guy named Jay. With Jay's help they save the school from a biology teacher with a taste for eating his students.
Twins are the Science of the future. New Earth, 5070623. A lab investigating human connections in hope of discovering telepathy for humanity. But is there a darker purpose for this research? Are they really working on mind control, a science lost to the ages due to law?
With Jay she goes to her senior prom on earth, only to find that a mindless predator known as a Kaelem has crashed it, literally. They are trapped in the school with a cheerleader, an AV club nerd, and her crush.
Five months after she left the Doctor she has found him again, in the same time frame so things don't get confusing. She sneaks onto the TARDIS and waits there for him. When the Doctor and his new companion het back he has some worries about her new friend, assuming he's her boyfriend. Before he can tell her, the group is teleported into a space ship of one of her enemies, the Spinck. The Doctor and Jay, and Amber and the Doctor's friend must find the way out of a riddle filled maze. -

The Time Code
Their first stop is the next part of new earth. As New New York rebuilds itself trouble is still at large. At the surface everything is fine, building and jobs are being made, but a new machine threatens to destroy the planet. The humans' first time machine. As the Doctor looks at the machine he finds that plans are TimeLord. This information is sought after by every planet in the universe and everyone will stop at nothing to get these plans, even infiltrate NewNew York. The Doctor must destroy these plans, but how to when the human government is torn between the glory of the time machine and the rising threat of intergalactic terrorists.
Houdini's Haunting

Don't Scream
A call for help from a Child who can't speak sends the two running to help. The year 2001, in London, and a young boy has lost his voice and ability to communicate, only every dark space is filled with his screams for help. All responding to his cries have lost their voice too. In an investigation, the Doctor looses his voice too. It is up to Amber to figure it out on her own. Only to find that doopelgangers have been stealing parts of his life for years. As he slowly looses everything and the ganger gains his life, Amber must find a way to track it down and give the boy back his life. And if the ganger dies so does the boy.
The Cleaning Monster
On a spaceship five galaxies from earth, a human exploration team searches to find the answer to "Are we alone" little do they know after a stop at an "uninhabited planet" they stumble upon a group of aliens that have made home in their ship. Throughout the ride with their mysterious guests (the Doctor and Amber) they discover that in dark, lonely parts of the ship it is cleaner than ever before, and when they wake up the rooms like the mess hall become spotless. But as crew members disappear after going for a midnight snack they find that they have a real problem. Or problems. They have, as the Doctor explains, an infestation of "Brownies", little creatures that hate to be seen and love to clean quiet places for food. The Doctor will have to settle the peace or the team will get killed trying to destroy the brownies.
Ves
Tempted by fun, Amber enters a video game experience known as "The Ves" a virtual world created in 3406. Only because of the patron the world has a virus locking her in. She must fight her way through the levels with only the Doctor as a virtual pixie to give advice. Meanwhile the Doctor tries his hardest to rewrite Ves safely in order to get her out knowing that it is no longer a game.
Intergalactic Ninjas
When a visit back home goes horribly wrong Amber has the sensation of being watched. Like something out of the corner of her eye is there only when she looks away. Ninja assassins have come to take Amber, but why? With the question still unanswered the two seek answers from the town of Water-brook. Only to find that the ninjas are relentless and her friends may be at stake.
Bermuda

Crash Course
An orange soda spill on the console leaves the TARDIS crash landing through the time vortex making the TARDIS pop up randomly in different places in time. The Doctor must fix the TARDIS before to flies out of the vortex completely, but to do that he must crash land in the right places.
Freeze
The two go to the frost planet known as Galgoria for a skiing trip, as Amber puts it "A normal Saturday activity." little does she know that no one skis anymore. As they stay at a lodge known as Villos, an old fortress, with a group of bizarre aliens. As they arrive the ports going in and out have closed do to too much snow. They begin to wonder if the crunch on the hills is the ice cracking or the mountain collapsing beneath them.

This is rather like Sarah Jane and Donna's meetings with the Doctor. I think a new idea would be better.After trying to take Amber to "the patron" Alwen, the amphibious mercenary, is blown up. Self-destruct buttons are so cliche now; I really wouldn't use something so old. Also, how exactly does she manipulate the Doctor?The Doctor finds it hard trust Amber as she seems to be able to follow most of his over-complicated explanations...
This kinda smacks of Sue-ism. Part of a companion's role is to play the everyman--the Watson to the Doctor's Holmes, to ask the questions that the audience wants answering. A companion who knows just as much as the Doctor won't have much connection with the viewer, and will detract from the Doctor's alien/genius, which is part of his appeal.The Doctor can not help but to be a little concerned for what she'll become. His younger self? What regenerations/storylines are you using to back this up? There have been some moments when he's wavered, but a lot of what the Doctor has always been for is finding the other way, of not giving into violence.He tries to make her see forgiveness, but there's a problem. She doesn't trust him either.

I thought the Doctor said Vortex manipulators were a messy and dangerous way to travel?
There are some good ideas here! Some of them look a bit old and implausible, but that could be because it's just very rough summaries, so it could all change depending on how it's presented.
I don't think you really can present your ideas to the BBC and expect them to act on them because they must get loads of fan-emails everyday. The BBC Writers Room is where you can present original scripts, but not for pre-existing shows. Still, if you're interested in script-writing, that would be a great place to start.

Good points. Revision time.
I was a little iffy on my first idea. I was thinking that maybe Alwin's hide-out would be more like a spaceship parked somewhere people don't go alot, but maybe they destroy it someway other than a self-destruct button.
Also, it is kind of really easy to manipulate the Doctor if youre a good person. I was thinking that if he was leaving to find the patron, and she said that it would probably be safer if she wasn't in Water-brook. Where the patron knows she is.
The point of her being intellegent is that she is really a Timelord. But it wouldn't be like someone equal to the Doctor, she's just smart enough to not have to ask twice. Like you know how some companions are like "Wait what does this button do again?" she'd be more like, "Sometimes the Doctor presses this button and this happens. But I see what youre saying. That does make her a Mary Sue. My point was to seperate her from the average companion.
The reason I say that she's like his younger self, is that the Doctor sometimes talks about the Timewar and how he used to kill people, but now he doesn't.
Next question.... The answer is Time travel and curiousity. Companions rarely totally trust the Doctor completely. And when they do, it makes the doctor nevous. There's always a time when the companion or the Doctor finds a reason not to trust the other and it doesn't always make them want to give up traveling through time together.
Obviously there's a reason they turned her human. So they couldn't have her wanting to turn back to Timelord, and would you believe the aliens telling you that you're not actually an alien? I wouldn't, and the Doctor didn't when he was turned human.
Yes he has said they're messy and yet he let his wife, who he wouldn't even allow to have broken wrist, travel via vortex manipulator.

It's cool, but I think you could have a better name that Amber. The name "Abigail" means "father's love," so . . .
