Character Interview: Winter White

  1. Interview Winter White!
  2. Winter sat in the interview chair, legs crossed, and foot tapping nervously. She had black hair, dark toned skin, and beautiful blue eyes. She wore the common uniform of a StarWatcher, dark blue robes, and white embroidery to look like stars. She didn't speak until the reporter comes in.
  3. The Reporter was a slender man of about 37.
The Reporter posed the question "Who are you?"
  4. “My name is Winter. Well technically,” she said bashfully, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. “It’s Winter Jane White. But don’t tell people that. To the people I know, it’s just Winter.”
  5. "Where are you from?"
  6. “Entillya.” she responded “Specifically Capital City, located in the Central Territory. My parents are actually the Duke and Duchess of that territory.”
  7. "Do you have any special skills?"
  8. “Can wield magic” she replied, a little proud of the fact. “I’m actually a member of the StarWatchers.” After a moment of thinking, she continued. “I was also taught how to play piano as a child, but I’m not any good.”
  9. A second interviewer entered the room, a slight girl with pale, wispy hair that hung about her head like dandelion fluff.

"The Star Watchers? Sounds neat! What are they?"

She took a seat and flashed Winter a polite smile. The nametag on her blouse read "May" in large, loopy letters.
  10. “Ah. That’s a tad hard to explain.” Winter responded, waving her hand, trying to think. “It’s an organization of exceptional magic wielders. Our job is to read people’s fates in the stars, but our job expands to other things as well. I protected my sister, the empress, at one point.” Winter said, growing sad at the thought. “She’s no longer alive, but that’s a whole different story.
  11. May's eyes widen, large and blue in her pale face. "Oh! Wow."

After a pause, she continues in her innocently tactless way. "Your parents are a Duke and Duchess and your sister was the empress.. Your family must be pretty important! Do you have any other sisters or brothers? Are you the only StarWatcher?"
  12. “I guess we’re important, but really it’s all luck. Me and my sister are twins, and her fate was to be empress. It really was more luck than importance. Anyone could have empress, it just happened to be Apple.” She explained. “No siblings other than Apple. It was just us. After Apple became empress, I wanted to get away from all that fame, so I left for the StarWatchers. Found a second family there too, in Logan, Pam, and the rest of the Orion Squadron.”
  13. "A second family.." May smiles at that. "What are they like?"
  14. Winter chucked, smiling at the thought. “Loyal. Immensely loyal. Stood by me in my darkest moments. Logan is our leader, and a devout rule follower. Never dose anything unless Pam convinces him it’s not against the rules. You see, Pam on the other hand, loves to mess around. Always up to trouble. And yet gives the best advice on the planet. Everett is a little rough. Kind of rude, and obsessed about becoming stronger. But he’s loyal. He will protect those he loves will unparalleled determination. Charlotte is kind, and giving. Never had money because she gives it all away. Noah is what you would call an empath. You go to him when you’re emotionally tired, or need someone to vent to. I swear, I’ve never seen him hate anyone, not even Everett.” She chuckled at the thought. “And then there’s Nelly. Sweetest little thing you ever met. Can’t lie to save her life. We’ve had our ups and downs. Had to leave the squadron a couple times. I’m no longer an official member of the Orion Squadron, but the StarWatchers will always be my family.”
  15. "Sounds like you're all really close! Why'd you leave?"
