“I want to know who you are!”
Malvis snarled, hands now behind her neck.

The Interrogator Raised their eyebrow.
"I Am The One Asking The Questions."
They said crossing their arms.
"You Are The One Answering The Questions.
What Happened To Your Right Eye?" -
In a flash of movement, Malvis brandished a long stiletto blade. “Tell me who you are! I don't care who is asking the questions. I want to know why you care so much.”
-
The Interrogator face now appeared disappointed, they stroked their chin.
"hmm 'why do I care so much?' Why do you care so little?"
The Interrogator grabbed the subjects arm with the blade and held the arm down, They seemed to be judging the subjects form.
"You have not taken care of yourself. You have not taken responsibility for yourself. So now that burden must fall on me." The Interrogator took the demeanor of a Frustrated Father.
They Interrogator pointed at the subjects right eye and scoffed.
"You care so little for yourself that you have allowed this to happen.
And now you refuse to tell me what caused it.
After all the time I have spent Listening to you and yours."
The Interrogators grip tightened they were far stronger than they appeared to be.
The Interrogator sighed and let go of the subjects arm having left a red mark.
"Very well you shall stay sick as long as you want. You may stay ungrateful as long as you want. You may play with toys" the interrogator held the blade between their thumb and index finger and dangled it over the table "As long as you want" They dropped the blade in front of the subject.
"And if you truly do not care for me or the work I did to help you" They raised their arms. "You may kill me with your toy." the Interrogator eyed the blade and then shifted their focus to the subject as if in wait for their opponent to make a move in chess. -
“I care enough about myself. I don’t know who you are. You don't know my parents. And you definitely don't know what I had to do to be myself. Malvis snatched up her blade and held behind her back, posture perfectly straight. “You haven't helped me once. You don't know me.”
-
The Interrogator narrowed their eyes.
"YOU grew up in The Mist with YOUR parents and three younger siblings. YOUR birth parents ARE Shamara and Abir they died when YOU were eleven. They Wanted you to be an Illusionist. But you let them down.
But you want it to be fine. You thank them every day.
They committed suicide and you are sure they don't regret it either."
The Interrogator Said these things with such confidence it was as if they were reciting poetry for whilst recounting these things they developed a warm almost welcoming smile. -
Malvis started laughing, her hair turning grey. "You don't know what an Illusionist is, do you?" She folded her dagger and tied it back around her neck, tucking it in the neck of her dress. "Okay, so you know my parent's names. Let's start simple. Where are my parents from, and who gave birth to my siblings?"
-
A voice form the Intercom said
"Olson you are relieved of your duty"
The Interrogator's eyes widened and slightly watered They left the room. -
"How many of there are you?" Malvis groaned and started pacing. She untied her blade again and unfolded it. "Where am I? Who is behind this?" Her hair turned raven again. "TELL ME SOMETHING!"
-
A Woman entered the room she wore an expression of bored opportunism.
"Am I to assume you might be mildly upset with your situation or are you almost content with this current situation. Please do not answer dishonestly. If you answer dishonestly someone somewhere will be upset with you."
She spoke with a kind of monotone condescending dumbness that one would find in a Kafka story. -
“Oh, I’m just doing dandy!”
Sarcasm oozed throughout her voice, the Liccasapuni in her hands twirling in the air with surprising accuracy for a blade so long.
“I’m in a strange place full of people I don't know, with people who are pretending to know me. And oh no, some people are going to be disappointed in me.”
She scoffed, catching her knife by the handle and holding it behind her back.
“Want to tell me what is going on, or are you just as daft as your colleagues?”
