  1. Einar sits at the table opposite you, legs crossed and arms folded neatly. He's skinny, with a pale, fatigue-smudged face and eyes that unpick your ragged edges as they stare.

"So?" he asks, "I understand you want to ask some questions?"
  2. That's right. *smiles* What's your name and how old are you?
  3. Hello. So, where are you from?
  4. Do you have any friends.
  5. Einar nods at @AkeliaTaske without returning the smile. "I'm Einar. I'm twenty."

He turns to @KaiRyu. "I'm from Fjordheim. It's an industrial city-state in the Hallingdal mountains."

@ChieRynn draws a smile from him. "How charming. I have allies, and one palace brat hanging around. The only one I'd call a friend would be Soren. He's an info broker."
  6. Do you have any family?
  7. "I had family. They died off. Most people do once you hit fifty. Fjordheim isn't kind, you know." There isn't much emotion in his voice as he addresses @rebelpilot, just a slight regretful smile.
  8. So did they die of age, or something else?
  9. Do you have anyone you might consider family even if they aren't biologically your kin?
  10. "My father was killed by the Queen for building illegal machines. My mother died giving birth to my sister, who then died because I didn't know how to take care of her." Einar speaks matter-of-factly to @KaiRyu, before turning to @featherstone9086.

"Not really," he shrugs, "Soren and I are pretty close, though. But not in a family way."
  11. Why was your father building illegal machines then?
  12. What kind of machines?
  13. "Ooh, the good questions." Einar sat up a little straighter. "@KaiRyu, my father built illegal machines because he wanted to. Building machines was his passion - it wasn't his fault it was illegal. @bookishminecrafter, he built lots of machines. His best was the machine I stole back from the Queen. It's a flying machine in the shape of a dragon."
  14. Why were they illegal?
  15. "The Queen didn't want anyone else to have power. She still doesn't. But Soren, the brat, and I are going to change that, hopefully."
