Crush advice :/

  1. I tried not liking a guy for once the entire year. It was a relief not to have to stress about liking someone for once. It worked, until October. I think I'm really really starting to like this guy and he's sweet and he's very smart and I consider myself an intelligent and very intellectual person so I'm interested in those types of people. He makes me laugh and I recently found out He is Atheist like me and I can literally count on one hand how many Atheist people I know so it is someone else I can relate to. He's great but I don't want to get hurt like I usually do in the long run. HOW do I stop liking him??
It's not like I'm "IN LOVE" or anything. I'm only 14 ( and that's recently) so I'm old enough and I only started to kind of have feelings for him this month.. Help.. please..
  2. I mean I'm NOT Old enough
  3. Lol Angie... algunas cosas no se pueden evitar.

I don't think there's a solution to this, other than stop talking to him. O.o Maybe that'd hurt him. :\

I understand how you feel, though. Been there. xD But remember that no one ever wants go get hurt, well, at least most people. Maybe you should give love a chance. At the end it'll be worth it, wheather if it works or not. If you think you're not old enough, then just keep that in mind while you're around him. <333 :)
  4. I can't really stop talking to him.. See, we are in this course called peer counseling and he is in that class with me and we help people, teachers, tutor, mediate, that stuff. We sit at tables of 4-5 people. He sits at that table with me and I have a feeling the seating won't change for a very, very, very long time. Most of my friends don't like him too much because of his level of intellect. He's a bit brainy. But so am I. And I'm not allowed to date and last time I did it blew up in my face and let's say he liked me. Then... what? It would be BEYOND awkward. I told my friends last night (it was my birthday party and we were playing Truth or Dare and sharing who we liked) and some of them looked as if I had just given them an aneurysm and the ones that already knew laughed... My friends are the best lol
  5. When you say you're not old enough to date, is that because you're not ready or your parents won't let you date until a certain age? The situation doesn't really change either way, I guess, but it might be easier to help you out if we knew the 'why.' Personally, I'm one of those people who would say give love a chance, but, if you're not ready/can't date, there's other ways. I wouldn't suggest /not/ talking to him. I mean, even if you don't date the guy, who says you can't get a really great friendship out of this? :)

Do you know if he likes you back or not? Maybe he'll be willing to wait for you, if you're not ready. Maybe not. My main advice is not to worry about it too much. I'm only a year older than you, and, really, there's a lot more ahead of both of us than one crush, right? :)
  6. We're not allowed to date yet :P (I'm her sis just so ya know )
  7. Well really, it's both. My parents won't let me until high school. And I'm not ready. I TRIED to have a relationship two years ago and while I was younger and people have changed, I don't think I'm ready.. I guess it could make a good friendship but... ah...
I'm not sure if he likes me.. Maybe.. Only time will tell I guess. It's not like it's life or death but it's like he's so like me!

The idea that a poem was a made thing stayed with me, and I decided then that I wanted to be an artist, not just a diarist. So I put myself through a kind of apprenticeship in writing poetry, and I understood even then that my practice as a poet was deeply related to my reading.
