Okay, Yes, I need help. :) Relationship.

6 posts in this topic.

  1. Cast:
Guy 1: the one I've liked FOREVER
Guy 2: the one I used to like and am best friends with
Guy 3: the one my mom thinks I would be perfect for, but I'm building him up on a pedestal.

    So.
There is the 1,2 and 3.
    Let's talk about em.
    1:
Total player. Pretty much played one of my best friends and still is. Their both my best friends, and I've liked him forever. He is always sweet to me, always gives me a hug, always is there when I need him. But, if I started to date him, I would always be afraid of him playin me. I've seen it happen. A lot. And it's painful. I really do like him. And have for a long time.
    2:
He has been one of my best friends since I was 8. I had a crush on him when I was 10 (told him) had a crush on him when I was 11, we both liked each other at that point, and now, my best friend is convinced that I am falling in love with him.
I would trust him with my life. He cracks jokes, he is fun to have around, he brings me back to earth, and his favorite phrase is "Shoot me now, *my name* shoot me now!" Which is kind of my hint to shut up :P
I can always be myself, and he is probably one of the few people I tell everything.
But. I don't think I like him. I mean, when we were 11, I had the most fun I've ever had with a guy. We were to young to date, (still am, but we'll come to that later) but we had fun. Pretty much were dating, or at least every one thought so.
He calls on me whenever he needs to make a girl jealous. I am literly a wing girl. And I do it.
    3:
My mom has choosen a really hot guy, who is 16 that she thinks is perfect for me. I agree. He wants to get out of the godforsaken town and be a doctor or a lawyer.
Problem is, ever since she said it, I've been dreaming, and built him up on a pedestal NO ONE could live up too. Which, will let me down later. Believe me I know.

And then there is the fact that I am 13 and I am too young to date. But I don't know, I still like to have someone who... Just knows I like him and he likes me back and just... cares for me.

    So, basically HALP
  2. The way you describe it I think that guy number three is definitely too old for you at the moment, guy number one doesn't sound great either but guy number two sounds like the one, but you are the best person to make this decision because i don't actually know any of them.
  3. Defiantly not number 3., just unhealthy and since you have him on a pedestal probably wont work out.
    1. is tricky because you, of course, don't want to be played also your friends might get jealous.

    2. Sounds cute. I would choose him but at 13 you are to young to date.
  4. My best bet would be number 2. Although you don't have to date him if you don't like him. I have some guy friends that fit that description, but I don't like them.
  5. First off is a random tangent:
This guy Zach at my school sounds a lot like a mix of guys 1 and 3. Zach's a hot player, basically, but also very stuck up and irritating. Of course all the girls (except me) have fallen for him any way because he's HAWT (she shamefully admits.)

Anyway. . . guy 2 sounds perfect. There will never be that awkward "I know nothing about this guy" phase because he's your best friend. I've had two experiences with dating my BGF (best guy friends.) One is you find out the guy is totally not your type or two it's a little awkward when you two are around you and the guy's mutual friends.

And I get what your saying about 13 being a way too young age to date. In my school "dating" is a title and doesn't mean much. Basically, you and the guy have made it official that you like each other as more that friends, and there might be a giant group trip to the mall with you, the guy, and a bunch of other people, but not much beyond that. The kissing and hand holding is the next step, I suppose.

Lastly, don't rush into a relationship if your worried it could wreck your friendship after you two break up (assuming you do, eventually. . .)

    Hope this helped(: ~Fort
