  1. Advice that doesn't fit it the other discussions.
  2. I wanna be an admin of the club, YWS Advice. Where do I start? ;)
  3. Start by giving people advice. That's my advice to you.
  4. I will make a decision on the admin for the club when and if he number of members increases. For now, prove that you are mature enough and deserve to be an admin.
  5. How do I do that? Give advice? Cool. :)
  6. So I received some information from the high school I'll be going to in the fall. There's going to be a musical, and auditions are coming up soon.

"Anyone who is interested in a solo has to prepare a song to show us your range and strength."

I want to sing, but I need to prepare a song. I was thinking maybe Landslide by Fleetwood Mac.

Would that be a good one to tryout with? Should I do a different song since I only know half of it? Should I even bother auditioning since I'm a freshman?
  7. You should auditon! and landslide is a beautifull song you should sing it! Jut go for it!
  8. Although now, I'm having second thoughts about Landslide. Are there any other good songs to sing for an audition?
  9. every rose has it's thorn by poison, miley cyrus does it pretty good. It's pretty easy to sing.
  10. Amfliflier, I was actually telling Funkymomo that if you do the musical every year, then the director will see that you are committed and enjoy the musical. That will make it more likely that you'll get a better part as an upperclassman. As for the song choice, I suggest finding something you know well and are comfortable with(:

  12. Now I'm kind of leaning towards If I Die Young by The Band Perry. Is that too cliche? Should I stay away from the country genre?
  13. Well, most people prefer mainstream music. Even though If I Die Young is mainstream, it might he a song no one else will choose to sing because it's older and it's country, which sadly isn't as popular(:
  14. But which song should I sing?! I wish someone would just tell me to sing something, because I have no clue!
  15. I have a question like Amfliflier's. I'm trying out for the same musical and I was thinking of doing defying gravity from wicked but was wondering how i'd do the parts where the other person talked. if you've heard the Wicked version, you'd know what I mean. but anyways, what should I do? sing as both people? skip parts?

and Amfliflier, we'll decide together! you could do over the rainbow!

i enjoy repeating things twice in poetry. but only ever twice. nothing tragic ever happens thrice if i have control of it
