what's the climate like where you live where I live it snows from November ( sometimes as early as late October ) through March ( And sometimes it goes to April.) So it is snowing about half the year. Even worse since we have lived with it almost our whole lives the schools don't close in a blizzard.

In my city, the last recorded snow was in 1950.
that sucks, but we've got the beach! -
In New England the weather goes to extremes. (I swear it's amazing the pilgrims made it at all!)
In Summer it is so humid and scorching, but then you have those nights were you look up into the sky and see the milky way cutting through the dark like a glittering belt of diamonds. it's truly a sight that could make you cry.
In Spring it's as stereotypical as spring can get. but the black flies will form clouds above anyone foolish enough to try to do anything "outdoorsy". (hate those little buggers!) so I guess you could say their the New England spring weather. XD
In Winter it is usually bitterly cold (at least where I live) we don't get many blizzards, we get ice storms and driving winds. but I must say after an ice storm all the trees and bushes look like their made out of cut glass.(pain in the but when the power goes off for two weeks though) and when those rare warm days crop up we are all outside to build now creatures and when it gets cold again they last until spring!
Fall is one of New England's showcase seasons. I live up north so the trees come ablaze as soon as we get a few cold days.(we actually get tourist who come to see the foliage. we call them peepers here) it is usually clear all fall with a crisp but lovely windy days. we have an apple orchard, gardens and wild grapes, so we spend fall picking and putting up apple sauce tomatoes and jelly.

Sounds very loud, Shadow. Sounds awesome. Well I'm in the Southern Hemisphere so summer starts in December and Santa dies of heatstroke.
The weather's diverse across the country though... from beach to snow. In my particularly mountainous area though, everything's really subtle. It's like, you can't just take a picture and the scenery doesn't 'jump out of the picture', you fall into it. I hated it for a while, it was so strange how the grass is yellow if you look way out and the skies are clear most always. How it rained in summer and we had to pray for rain in winter. The thunderstorms. But eventually it became the most awesome.
Summer's is like a background shout. The sun forces you to move or stand there and be a man. Afternoon showers usually clear everything off and they're really powerful in a small town/village an hour off. But everything's always so fresh. Autumn makes me feel like I have Asthma, makes me sweat when I wear a blazer and freeze when I don't and I love it. The trees die late and the colour are dull and quiet, I kind of miss the summer but anticipate the winter.March to May.
Winter is warm in a cold way (snow capped mountains... wind comes from that direction but barely ever brings the snow with it... like once a year if at all) (warm because the sun is unobstructed... clear skies and a dry air hanging there.
And spring is incredible. I'll try and take a few pictures, but I have to say that it's what you make of it, wherever you are, and truly God has given us a beautiful planet. -
I have to agree with you New-hero, the weather here certainly makes itself known ;D we have some pretty big thunderstorms here too in the summer, and it's awesome to see it hit the ridge across from out house.
Your weather sounds SO different from where I live, but it also sound incredible in it's own unique way New-hero.
I've always wanted to go to Africa and explore around. (maybe someday when I'm a published author and have the money
)
Though I'd have to admit, I'd wilt there even in winter. I am a cold climate girl.

Sunshine is unheard of here (except in March or April where it's quite nice. Maybe a few nice days in the summer), and rain is common - I'm not even in Scotland! -
Ahh, the good british weather. I have to say that we do have some nice days in September down in Devon, but by that time we're already back at school, which sucks!
