The Way Of The World

An old man shivering on the street,
holding a cup with few coins in it.
He's asking for something to bet
As he spit for what he don't want to get.
An old pair sharing a dish.
By mercy, a mister gave them fish
But they threw it away..
'What the hell', they say.
A lady holding a baby
Saying, 'My husband died lately'
A passerby gave her few money
Yet she mocked him badly.
A guy on the corner wondering
With eyes wide-open he saw everything.
He began to sing his anthem,
Realizing 'he's one of them'.
