Those Moments
Be ready for those times. Those moments in life where time doesn't just stand still, it becomes pointless. You run off out of control emotions. Your body refuses to be taken from the moment without a fight. It could be the worst thing that has ever happened to you, a friend, or your entire race. It doesn't matter. You live more for those few minutes then you could have for years. You can fear these times, hide from them, even scream your way blindly through them. Or you can step up; you can be the most you may ever be in the blink of an eye. It is the sign of the forever enlightened to recognize that however dire and scarring an event, it could be one of the most beautiful things in the entire of your very mortal life.
I want to have a bit of a heroic (but died while being so) character from a short book I'm writing to say this as things sort of fade out. What does everyone think of it?
