Only if.

You've wanted a somebody,
and you've wanted to be alone.

You've wanted a promising future,
and you've wanted to savor a second.

You've wanted to hold on,
and you've wanted to push everything
and everybody
away.

Phases are like seasons;
something different every year,
even if they always sound the same.
You'll let them chill you,
deep down to your bones.
They'll bubble up in your blood
until your skin blosoms into a fresh pink.
Phases, like seasons, always pass,
but only if you keep breathing.

So let people come.
Let them go.
Depend on love,
and reject it too.
Prepare for tommorrow,
but live for today.
Make bad choices,
and remember the good ones.

If you keep breathing,
you'll never really be alone.

I literally just typed this. Constructive critisism is welcomed, and thank you for reading.

I'm effortlessly ironic.
