This was such a touching book, that I just stumbled upon in the library. I scoured the rest of the library afterwards for his second teen fiction, Exchange which proved to be just as successful in my eyes. It is the first teen fiction Magrs has writting, his other books being that of the "middle aged romance".
Story;
Set in the South Shields area of England, David - a smart and sensitive young boy - is convinced that he has magical super powers. He is struggling with the idea of girls and friends, and is more intrested by the 14-year-old boy that lives down the street.
A constant struggle of having to deal with step-families and familt disputes and relationships, it is written in a slightly childish tone which makes you feel more for David as he struggles to cope with his array of oncoming emotions.
I rate it at least an eight out of ten.
Anyone else read it? Or another of Magrs books?
