Peas?! Haha. Loved it, honestly.

Dedicated to Shadow Knight
DEATH
It’s what we like.
Our whole lives surround it.
We live it
We breathe it
We eat it.
It destroys
Like no other
Tearing families apart
And when war breaks out
There’s more death
And
DESTRUCTION
Is there, standing by
Hanging its drooping head
Watching with glee
As we destroy our lives
With inventions such as frozen
PEAS
*cough* Nice...
jk, Thats awesome. My mom looked over my shouldure while I was reading this. She didn't have her glasses so she could only read the parts in big font. She made a face that looked like 0_o and asked me what I was doing.
oh goodnes.. I started laughing when I saw PEAS in big letter.
and I had no idea your left elbow was that serious
'Tis lovely, like Ari said.
*laughs* How about I gather all my otter friends and we hold hands (paws?) and get in a circle and sing the Who song from the Grinch. And then we'll all eat pie!!
'Tis a lovely poem. *giggles*
This is as serious as my left elbow. The message of my poem? Jump on a llama and start yodeling songs from the dictionary.
I agree with TBR it was a fun little piece to read.I honestly think you should make it longer for the benifit of the readers, it would be a nice treat!
This was good, but I'm not sure if I am supposed to take it seriously or not. The title and changes in font highlight the ridiculousness of throwing frozen peas in the mix. I laughed when I read the title, and then wasn't sure what to do when I read the whole piece. At any rate: lose the font changes, as they are a bit childish. Isolating the words should be enough to highlight them. If you want this to be taken seriously, you may want to adjust the title.
Well, you see, Shadow Knight read my other poem (about Autumn Leaves) and he said my poetry was too happy. So I wrote a poem that was about death and destruction!
AHAHAHAHA
.....
Seriously. Yeah... twas nice to read... just.... not dedicated to me
I like this. To me it's just the right blend of nonsense making a point. Of course, I have no idea what that point is, or even if there is one, but maybe the point is to figure it out. Or maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about and am in fact spouting meaningless gibberish. I think the latter is the most likely case.
*wipe tear from eye* It's beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! I was crying before the second line. I simply cannot critique because it is so perfect!
Smileys and words fail utterly to convey the vast swirl of emotions that are erupting behind my blank stare.
What the heck did I just read? Do I really want to know? Why do I suddenly feel the need to slash my wrists with frozen peas? And is that physically possible?
It is very thought provoking.
