Psychoanalyze Us

I cannot begin to justify
my all-encompassing love for you.
Some might call it mania.
To me, they're my feelings true.
You have the one you love,
and I must simply wait.
It is not at all my strong point.
It is a thing I simply hate.
Freud would love to examine us,
and deal with the chaotic "family".
Or, maybe, just one at a time...
Can I go first, please?
I have so much to say
and my id drives me wild.
My superego wants me chaste.
Thus is my ego made mild.
All I know is I love you.
You are the source of my mania.
And, with frighteningly quick changes,
you could realize my worst phobia.

But answer me this: how can a story end happily if there is no love?
