Oh my God. I finished The Burn Journals today, and it was amazing. I highly recomend it to anybody who loves to read. Admittedly it isn't brillient writing, but they way the author shows the feeling and thoughts are so real. Probably because it's a true story. More to that, it's a memoir.
It's about this kid, Brent, who decided to finally end his life. By setting himself on fire. Note: This happens within the first fifteen pages of the book, the rest is all about his recovery, how the world reacted to him, how he reacted to the world. It was amazingly heartfelt and just...wow. It was so good. Read it if you haven't yet. Even if you don't particularly like YA. It's well worth the read.
Really, really, really good book.
Okay! I'm off to read Crank...
