1. dead green eyes,

2. copper curly hair,

3. I had alcohol and we are in love,

4. my heart is in love with someone out of reach,

5. bruises are now vivid.

Look and you’ll see

My hair is a fiery rust,

My eyes hold secrets in shades of jade,

My arms bear stories of battles fought,

My hands trace the scars of yesterday.

My heart is tangled in dreams,

I’m the restless soul,

I’ve tasted whiskey’s warmth,

Yet love feels like a distant star.

I wander through shadows,

In a place where hope flickers,

I wish you could feel my ache,

I long to escape this cage.

It’s all vivid in my mind,

That’s undeniably, truly me.
