Scene 3 - I-SPY

I remember last time she took interest while chatting with me, so there are pretty good chances, that she won’t reject my friend request and even there is equal negative possibility, she won’t add me. After all, she has girl’s mind, common trait-it can switch anytime-anywhere. The first thing that I did getting online was to check her presence in my Friend List. Therefore, I impatiently scanned my friend list in order to confirm her existence there. Luckily she was there, she proved my predictions were correct for her my mind by adding me.

I clicked on her display picture to enter her profile and read recent conversation. However, scrap from same old person Zippo in her profile gave me a shock of thought.

Oh! That’s why you didn’t come online.

I tried to overlook Zippo’s scrap, but again same question popped my mind ‘What was the relation between them?’ I started to convince myself with a thought, they both are good friends, and if he was her Bf then Babylicious might have added ‘I love you’. I stupid reasoned myself. ‘Possibility is less of being her boyfriend. Apart from that, may be they have secret relation, don’t want to disclose in public’ I thought and continued reading her further scraps. There were few ‘Hi-Hello’ and ‘can be friends’ from strangers to her, but it’s obvious for a girl on Orkut.

Below that there were same old scraps, which I posted while chatting her last time. I noticed there were no scraps from others person between my scraps. It made me confirm she took keen interest in me last time, but there was another possibility that Zippo was not online last time, may be that’s why she might have chatted with me to get her time passed. But if this was true, she won’t have added me. This proves again I am right and obviously Big Fish is interested in me. Therefore, I scrapped her again.

And continued to my ‘Homepage’ by clicking homepage hyperlink. Nobody was online. There was nothing that I can do. Am I going to get bore today? This thought again scared me, but bore gets only those who are boring.

My eyes caught on increased number of fans. To know newest fan in list, I continued by clicking small stars in row beside fans written on homepage, because last time I had only 3 fans. ‘Babylicious’ was the first fan in list when it appeared. ‘So, she is newest fan’ I thought, but I wasn’t able to digest the thought that, she became my fan in very first talk. Either she was really impressed with me or ‘fan’ was just a click for her nothing more then that literally. Hopefully, she might have become my fan without any reason. I wasn’t really satisfied with ‘Fan at very first Talk’ thought. In return I decided to gift her testimonial, so that there remains a balance in give and take. I copied the general testimonial from my friends profile and send her. It was something like this.

Now it was time to check new entries in my own scrapbook, continued clicking scrapbook hyperlink. After waiting for few moments my scrapbook appeared with very first scrap from ‘Zippo’

His scrap made me realize my mistake, that I forgot to put him in ignore list, when last time I threatened him with warnings. But why is he telling me to stop taking Babylicious and who’s this Amber? Most probably Amber’s real name of Babylicious. Finally,without mistake this time ignored and scraped him, so that he doesn’t disturb in near future.

Suddenly, small alert window popped down the screen that broke my concentration.

Scrap surprised me, how did she know my name? I remembered, neither I asked her name nor she told me. She might have snooped in the scrapbook of my friends, because they only know my name. But why would she waste time on new friend like me? I am not so extraordinary that she keeping on finding my point details. Think Big Fish is totally in. Now it won’t be tough to play with her. As I refreshed my scrapbook page, her full scrap was there which read.

“Hey dude, what’s up?” asked Bobby as he reached the counter inside the Internet cafe owned by one of his friends Rahim

“Thanks Orkut” replied Rahim.

Rahim owned Internet café in main market, since the introduction of social networking sites his business was sky touching. 90% of costumer browsed Social networking sties while doing their respective work.

“Finally I’m here, now teach me hacking-Dear hacker” said Bobby leaning in the main cash counter where Rahim was seated on next end. Everybody sitting in his or her respective system turned around for a second listening to ‘hacking’ word in cafe.

“Shh!! Don’t use this word here,” requested Rahim.

“Ok! Teach me to launch Missile, Is that ok?” whispered bobby leaning more closely to him.

“Wait a minute costumer” said Rahim watching a lady costumer logging out of system and approaching towards main counter where he was seated, he took out the register from desk in order to check login hours.

“How much I have to pay” enquired lady costumer who was in age of mid nineteen’s

“30 Rupees ma’am” informed Rahim.

“Do you have change?” asked teen beauty searching through the purse to find change, but all she was able to find big notes of 100,500 bucks.

“How much do you have ma’am?”

“100 and 500 only”

“No sorry ma’am. I don’t have change.” apologized Rahim.

Listening to this she took out 100 Rupees note and handed to Rahim. “That’s you problem”

“Why don’t you pay next time? It’s ok for now”

“No it’s not ok, instead you keep rest, I’ll take rest later” and walked out of cafe

Bobby couldn’t refrain himself from staring gorgeous girl. He stared at her continuously without dropping a gaze. “Rahim! Rahim! Who was that bombshell?” asked Bobby excitedly, in order to know more about her. Its was Bobby, even if there was someone else in his place, then even he would have enquired more about that extraordinary teen beauty..

“My costumer” Rahim replied reluctantly.

“I know, but who’s she exactly?”

“I don’t know, but she comes regularly, almost same time”

“That means, she’ll be back tomorrow same time.” asked Bobby taking keen interest in her lady customer..

“Think so…” added Rahim.

“Bingo! What’s her name?”

“Don’t know, but why are you so much bothered?”

“Please, take a look in the register and tell me her name, I’m sure her name and details would be there in costumer register” requested Bobby.

After taking a look through the register, Rahim informed her name as ‘Ira’.

“Beautiful name anymore details?” asked bobby still hungry for more information about girl.

“Details?” asked Rahim raising his brows “I’ll give you her details, come with me” straightened up from the behind main counter table and took Bobby to the computer where she was logged in before leaving café.

“What I have to do?” asked Bobby, lowering himself into the chair which Ira had vacated a few minutes ago. Dragging another Stool Rahim also took seat beside him.

“Bobby, forget I’m sitting beside you, just do whatever you want while sitting on computer at home or in cafe” instructed Rahim, adjusting himself into comfortable position on stool which had no back support

“Why?” Bobby seemed confused and didn’t understand what Rahim was trying to say or do.

“Just do it” said Rahim.

Listening to this, Bobby started concentrating on the screen and scanned quickly for ‘e’ icon of Internet explorer in the desktop, finding in the corner of screen, double clicked it and typed ‘www.orkut.com’ in the address bar of internet page. But again his concentration broke from the screen when page started to download with slow speed.

“What are we doing? I can do this thing at home also, I’ve Internet connection at home .why here?” asked Bobby.

“Forget I am here, do whatever you do at home” said Rahim.

Again bobby continued to concentrate on the screen and downloading of Orkut page was completed with blue back ground and ‘Orkut’ written in 30 Size font on left side of page, with area to log in for member with ‘Email and password’ in right. he decided to check his Email account and again double clicked another explorer icon to open new Internet page and again typed ‘www.mail.yahoo.com’. As yahoo page was downloading with its usual speed. He typed ‘Badshawbobby’ in place to enter email in Orkut, as he was about to type password he realized Rahim was also watching sitting beside him.

“Rahim turn your face, otherwise you will watch my password” said bobby

“Ok! As you wish”

When Rahim turned his face in other direction, Bobby placed his long knobby fingers on the keyboard and keyed in “kickassbobby69” in password area of Orkut page and clicked on the ‘LOG IN’ button situated below password area and page started to download with its usual speed. Then he opened his yahoo page and typed his yahoo id ‘Badshawbobby’ and password ‘meequalsmoab” and clicked on ‘sign in’ button.

As Rahim turned his face he saw Bobby with done with Orkut and Yahoo, he was already logged in Orkut and was reading scraps

“Done?” ask Rahim.

“I am reading mails and scraps. What was to be completed?” questioned bobby.

“Have you logged in the sites which you opened?”

“Yeah! I am done with Orkut and yahoo” replied Bobby.

“Now log out of both the site” instructed Rahim.

“But what this has to do with hacking and Ira?” questioned Bobby with utter confusion.

“Have patience, do whatever I say, you will understand everything later. have patience” assured Rahim

By clicking on ‘Log Out’ icon he logged out of both the sites and asked Rahim “Now what?”

“Come with me” and Rahim started heading towards main cash counter where he was previously seated and Bobby too took the seat beside him.

“Seriously, Rahim I am not getting anything into my head, what the hell are you trying to do?” asked bobby

“Forget all the things and tell me what you did when you took seat in front of system?”

“Hmm… First of all double clicked ‘e’ of internet explorer icon” replied Bobby

“Good, carry on including minute details” said Rahim.

“Then I typed www.orkut.com and then again double clicked Internet explorer because Orkut page was still opening, then typed www.mail.yahoo.com in address bar of other Internet page” said Bobby and gave a puzzled look towards Rahim.

“Carry on…” instructed Rahim.

“Till then Orkut page was completely downloaded, then I typed my Email and password and then clicked on “Log in” button to enter into Orkut member area, after that Yahoo id and password and again clicked ‘sign in’ button in order to read the mails from my Yahoo mailbox” said Bobby

“I want to know. How much you took use of mouse.” questioned Rahim.

“To place pointer in correct position and double click icon that’s all.” answered bobby

“That means whatever you typed was from keyboard? I mean all that site name , login Id , password etc etc” asked Rahim.

“Yeah, everything was from keyboard only, how can a person write without the use of keyboard on computer.” counter questioned Bobby and laughed on his own.

“Do one last thing, write all your keystrokes in order you typed in this plain paper” and handed a plain paper and pen to Bobby.

“I didn’t undersand?”

“Ok let me give you example. First of all you typed www.orkut.com then you typed login Id and then password. Then enter key at last to login. Am I right?”

“Yes”

“Likewise type all the keystrokes in order”

Giving stress to mind Bobby started writing. He recalled first thing that he type with keyboard was ‘www.Orkut.com’ So he noted down, then in next line of paper he wrote his login Id, password and Enter key in last line.. Similarly, he wrote details of his Yahoo Id and password. It was something like this.

Verifying details, handed page to Rahim, and in turn Rahim took him to the computer where Bobby was logged in few moments ago. This time Rahim took seat in front of screen and this time Bobby took side seat.

Rahim started browsing desktop for ‘Home Logger’ icon. It was minimized in the right bottom of desktop area where minimized icons of Yahoo messenger, Volume, Local area network are generally found. Double clicked on the Home logger icon and it opened Notepad data with Title name as ‘Keylog’. Rahim tried to understand the data by reading it carefully. There was nothing at that moment which Bobby can do, as he still wasn’t getting anything. Therefore, he preferred to stay quite for some time but his eyes never left the screen.

After, scrolling and reading whole Keylog data thoroughly. A warm smile spread across Rahim’s face, which meant he found the thing, which he wanted “Bobby, take a look as this data” said Rahim with feeling of triumph. Highlighted some text from Keylog data in notepad, he instructed Bobby to read it. Keylog data looked something like this.

Getting be dazed by seeing his log in ID and password there. “That’s my password, how it got there?” asked Bobby in complete amazement.

“Magic “Replied Rahim with a smile

“Is that hacking? Please teach me” Bobby said. His voice had an edge to it. Startled, Bobby looked at the Login Data flashing across the screen.

“Let me explain you amateur” taking a deep breath Rahim started explaining to Bobby in detail “ There are several Spy software’s like key logger, home logger, family logger available on internet that records every keystroke you enter on keyboard in order you type. Being in invisible mode from the user it records data in Notepad which is showed you, so that user is unable to figure out. After that particular person has logged out of system you can easily his chat sessions, website browsed and get his Log in Id, Password and other details. UNDESRTAND anything?”

“Spy Software is really amazing” Bobby spat out .“ Can’t Anti-Virus figure it?”he hovered anxiously over the monitor

“Of course, but who cares when they browse at Cyber café or friends home. You never know who’s spying on you”

“That means, it’s not safe to browse important websites and E-shopping a public place”

“World is not safe and you are talking about cyber café’s” Rahim reason “ Its not like that”

“Then what’s the safeguard or precaution from that ?”

“Hmm..Good question” Said Rahim and again stated explaining to Bobby “Remember, I told you it records your keystrokes. Therefore, for safety you can use virtual keyboards. But..”

“But?”

“But everything had backdoor…”

“Backdoor?”

“That’s enough for you. If I’ll teach you everything then what would be the difference between you and me?”

“Whoa! But that was enough for Me.” said Bobby in excitement “Can I take a look at Notepad data?” asked and started reading Notepad data to understand better.

“That means Ira’s details is somewhere in this” suddenly clicked Bobby and asked Rahim.

“Yeah, all you have to do is, use your Small Brain”

This time Bobby tried to understand Notepad data by reading it carefully. Finding it difficult to figure out Details of Ira in the Keylog recordings he asked “But where is Ira’s detail in this?”

“Just before your login details, use common sense Dumbo” said Rahim.

Scrolling from the starting and reading carefully, he found Ira’s login detail was just before his login details in saved notepad. Reading Login Id and password he wasn’t sure whether it was Ira’s detail or someone else, but he decided to note it down.

“Do you have blank paper?” asked Bobby

“Yeah! But why?” Counter questioned Rahim.

“Want to write details of Ira”

With pen, Rahim handed him blank paper tearing out from register. Bobby wasted no time in writing details of Ira including Orkut Login Id, yahoo login Id and respective passwords.

“She is also an Orkut victim” said Bobby to Rahim and started laughing.

“You saved details of my customer?” mocked Rahim and both started laughing.

“It won’t cost anything to write, might help me in future.” Said Bobby

“I’m sure you know Cyber Laws and Information technology Acts”

“Who cares? Information is never wasted. Information is only Information when at correct place else its is just Random Combination of alphabets.”
