Ok so, I do need to add and change a couple of stuff. Like take in a couple of sentences and add in more. And i also feel that it needs to be longer. Some of you may to. Thanks for all of the recommendations I should put into here. I will definitely take into co consideration with what you guys said.

Mrs.Doubtfire was brilliance by Robin Williams. It would'nt have been half as good without him.

Your essay or prayer was quite short but I found it quite good because it evoked emotions. After reading some really flat works I came here and found it quite good. Maybe because I'm a big fan of Robin.

However you should increase the length of your work. It's just too short. Anyways, good attempt! Tributes are quite hard to write. You at least ventured into an unknown territory.

First off, this wasn't really much of a short story. More like a letter. So you can switch the category to "other" or you can stick with this, it doesn't really matter.

Now, I see how the others have commented on the grammar technicalities of this. I'll focus on the subject itself. While this focuses on Robin and how amazing he was for the rest of the world, it doesn't really focus on what he did for you. What did he do for you, from growing up to now? He's been alive all of your thirteen years, so he's bound to have said or done something that changed and/or influenced you, whether it was with one of his serious movies or his silly ones.

We want to delve in a more deep and personal level. I want to know how Robin changed your life, not the world. Knowing how he affected the world is nice but it sounds like I'm reading an article with the world as an audience. I want to read a personal letter, from you to God. I want to know why you took the time out of your day to write something to the lord for Robin Williams. After all, he was just another death. He wasn't the first to die and he won't be the last. I want to know why his passing hit you harder than any other death did.

If I were to write a letter to God, asking him to take care of Robin, I would write about why I loved him. The things he did, the movies he made and the love for foundations he did, I would include that too, because it shows his true colors. It shows how he truly changed the world. But I want God, and everyone else, to see how he changed me, personally. That man was a blessing. I would tell God how devastated I am that my children will never know who he was; all they will know is recording from the past. I would tell him how I held my hand over my mouth and stared at my phone in shock for a few minutes when I dead the news that he was dead, unable to comprehend, unable to believe. I would tell him how amazing Robin was, how my family and I often listen to the Aladdin soundtrack in the car and how my favorite song is Prince Ali, how I loved to hear Robin's silly voice and how amazed I was that he could sing.

Generally, I would babble on. So I encourage you to share with God, and whomever else, about why you loved Robin Williams.

What a beautiful tribute to Robin Williams! He was an amazing actor, and person. I loved him in Mrs. Doubtfire. His humor and emotion nearly brought me to tears, both from laughter and heart warmth. I don't have much to say as far as errors go. There could be a few changes made, such as the line , “He meant everything to everyone on this earth.” I felt that was a bit of a thrown out statement. But overall I found the simplicity to be very honest. Thank you.

The news about Robin Williams' death was truly a shocking tragedy and I'm glad to see a work paying homage to him and his life, so I commend you on that. I liked the genuine admiration that was put into this work and I liked how the prayer was somewhat like a realistic conversation.

There is always room for improvement, so I have some suggestions which may help improve your work even further.

This is a nitpick, but your title should read "A Prayer *for* Robin Williams, as oppose to "A prayer to Robin Williams* because that implies that you are praying to him and not God, which in this context does not make sense.

Another nitpick is the labeling genre of "Short story", I feel like this would fit better in the "Other" category, "poem" even.

"Please take care of one of the most influential and important person that lived, Robin Williams."

You had some grammatical errors in your work. Here you swap tenses and person plurals. Since you began the sentence with "one of the most" you needed to write *people* instead of "person", e.g.
Either - *Please take care of one of the most influential and important people that lived etc...
*Please take care of the most influential person that lived etc..*

"From family comedies, like Mrs. Doubtfire, to Disney classics, like Aladdin."

I really liked this line as these are movies many people loved and grew up with and it also showcased his talent as an actor.

"He has meant everything to everyone on our Earth."

This line didn't quite flow, perhaps rephrasing and expressing it in a different way? Maybe, *He meant a lot to everyone around the world* ? Something along those lines.

"Robin Williams, one of the most influential and hilarious person in the world."

Again here, it would be even better if you replace "person" to *people* for grammatical accuracy. You've used the adjective "influential" already maybe using another one like *inspiring* ? Robin Williams was not just a funny man, he also donated for charities and went to children's hospitals.

As an overview: I think you need to heighten and emphasize the prayer element of this piece because at times it has the tendency to read as a recount of his life as oppose to a prayer for him. You state his awards and humor but he was more than that, he was a person who had emotions which weren't visible to the world around him. It could be extended to short stanzas too.Maybe use more imagery and connotations of heaven or references along those lines - Also a prayer for those in depression at the moment so that they do not give up on life the same way.

You have no idea how much this means to me. The tv show, 'The Last Leg' mentioned that the Westboro Baptist Church were planning to picket his funeral because he supported homosexuality. It makes me unbelievably happy to know that there are some sane Christians who are okay with cross-dressing and everything else liberal about Robin Williams, not to mention that you're not condemning him to hell for taking his own life.

My only criticism, and it's very small considering I've never worded a prayer before but I think it would look better as 1 or 2 sentence paragraphs.

I spent my Friday night listening to 'My Chemical Romance' and crying about the mental illness that took this amazing man's life. It is an issue close to my heart and one that I am glad is not being condemned to hell for contradicting parts of the Bible.

He was an incredible human being and my eyes are brimming even as I write this.
