Lives are for living

I live for you

Dreams are for dreaming

I dream for you

Hearts are for beating

Mine beats for you

Angels are for keeping

I keep you

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't actually write this. My best friend did and she wanted me to put it up here. I tae no credit

They don't even know you
All they see is scars
They don't see the angel
Living in your heart
Let them find the real you
Buried deep within
Let them know with all you've got that you are not your skin

This is a really great poem! Tell your friend she is awesome. I especially liked the continuous correlation between two lines throughout the poem. A lot of times I see someone write a great poem and then change the format at the end. This gives a fresh insight on love (I presume). Keep writing!

Hi,

Welcome to YWS! I hope you like it here.

This is really lovely. I'd change the last line as it's a bit short. Maybe "keeping" should be changed to something different.

Hope this helps (your friend),

This is the first rhyming poem I had read in like, two weeks.
Wow. It really is refreshing to read a poem like this.

Tell your friend that this is really good. *thumbs up*
It also is cute.
Other poems had lost their meaning because of the other things they had focused on, like the words they used.
This one is...awesome. XD

Tell your friend to keep writing. XD
