Your crooked smile
pulls at my heart one more time
in a burst of light
and I remember your voice,
your words falling like the sky
upon my open heart.

So I call to my pen
the words in my hand
poured out onto paper for you.
I go carefully,
creeping through consonants and vowels,
sneaking through syllables –

for I must not give myself away.

This letter alone
feels like adultery, I confess,
as losing myself in the curve of his arms
is disloyalty itself –
and I wonder sometimes:
What if you saw?

In the end, it is in his arms I sleep,
and in truth,
I am unfaithful only to myself;
however many words drip from my eyes
I know you will never read them –
I write letters to no one.

I find this to be a lovely piece of writing. Its powerful yet subtle.
Made me feel like there was a more hidden meaning behind it for some reason. I think its really strong and well structured and written and took real talent to do. :)
I know these are random points but i thought that it deserved feedback from the energy it gave.

hmm this was different. <3 i loved it but the rhyming was off and on so that was strange. like, i think you should pick, am i going to rhyme this or not? and pick which instead of weaving in and out.

You'd better wise up, Pony... you get tough like me and you don't get hurt. You look out for yourself and nothing can touch you, man.
