Authors Note: This is my first since poetry post since my return of a *cough* two year hiatus, so bear with me :D

I love you so much it hurts
my already screaming heart
foolish words
traveling through distant shores
and getting lost in my thoughts

I see you from afar,

the shadow behind my eye
the acid that creates my tears
my only chain to earth

wondering when you'll see
the words
that circle in my head like sick vultures

the sad play of my life
the ending unfinished and dusty

you scribble the last scene in invisible ink

and I'm desperate to see

what you're trying to say

O_O Very good poem. I loved it. Good rythm, good words. It's amazing. Keep up the good work!

Russets and tangerine shades of old gold flushing the very outside edge of the senses ... deep shining ochres, burnt umber and parchments of baked earth—reflecting on itself and through itself, filtering the light.
— Guildenstern (Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead by Tom Stoppard)
