I totally agree with Snoink, posting stories are difficult and then getting them ripped apart is unbearable and it makes you feel horrible. But on the bright side, at least you know what to improve on! Also, never take the criticism seriously. We're all here to help, right?
I used to be the same way, scared to post my work but after a few failed attempts, I got used to it. I mean not everything I write can be groundbreaking. At least your work means something to you, neh? :)

Really, I honestly think it's harder for some to critique works than post them. It's hard for me to critique because I don't want to come off as a prick. But like Pink says, we're all here to help, aye?
