Town name help?

Hi guys I've been trying to come up with a name for a fictional town in my story and I've managed to narrow it down to a few possibilities. It's a very remote town in New England, surrounded by hills and woodlands. I want it's name to give that sort of impression - of nature and wilderness. Here's what I've got :

Silver Birch Bay

Hawthorn Hills

Fairwillow Falls

Little Oaksville

Autumn Brook

I really like Silver Birch Bay and Hawthorn Hills, but I'd love to hear your opinions

I agree! I like Silver Birch Bay and Hawthorn Hills both, but if I had to pick, I'd go with Hawthorn Hills.

(Although Hawthorne with a ne sounds even better. Just a thought. )

I agree with Iggy's take on Hawthorne. I like Fairwillow Falls, but instead of Falls (unless the town has a waterfall) I would change the Falls to something else.


(Just for fun, I have a suggestion too. Lornine Bay.)

Hawthorn by itself sounds nice to me.

I agree with Zolen. I actually like Hawthorn on its own, or possibly, like Iggy said, Hawthorne.

I also like Hawthorne-something. But, there will be an association with Nathaniel Hawthorne, so make sure that's an association you want. People'll read into it.

Haha, I didn't even think of that guy. But actually what would make for some amazing symbolism as long as its not overplayed.
