Dear all~
I guess this was exceptional. Just growing up with you. Remember when we first met? All timid newcomers on the first day of high school? There was Marcie, the leader, Anna, the brain, Donna, the dumb one, and me-Jenna. I guess I was still trying to find myself.
How did we bond again? It was the day of my parents’ biggest fight. I called Donna, who called Anna who called Marcie. We spent hours on the phone, listening to the same radio station and singing along. Badly.
Then there was our first big fight. How did it happen, anyway? Marcie, Anna didn’t steal your boyfriend, and there was no need to black list her from, well, anything and everything. I remember how we made up. Over that cheesy movie, the Truman Show. God, we loved that movie.
Which brings me to this point. Guys, I love you, but, right now, I don’t see any point in carrying on. I’m just faking happy, which has gotten nauseating for all of us. I’m sick of pretending that my life is okay when it is not and we all know it.
So I love you guys, I guess that’s the point of this letter. And. Because I won’t see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night.
