Hi,
If you are even looking at this I bless you. I am entering a contest and I have to print off everything in one day. I really want another person's opinion. Please, so I won't go insane, do not ctric this after January 2nd.

Here it goes.

Chapter One: Hot-dogs and wine

“She did what with what?" April asked in a voice that suggested she had never heard something so disgustingly dirty and equally amusing.
She sat Indian style on her soft, white Egyptian cotton bedspread. A glass of 1930 Margaux red wine was held in one hand, occasionally being sipped out of. It was her mother’s most expensive wine, but April had been drinking wine since the age of thirteen and it was nothing out of the ordinary just to drink for fun. Plus her and her friends needed something special to get over the hump day; the middle of the week is always so dull.
“She used a hot-dog – well obviously the wiener part to…well you know," Bridget told her friends. She laughed and drained the little amount of wine in her glass with a single gulp. Still smiling she licked her lips and filled up her glass for another round.
Brooke giggled harder than Bridget did, and April wore a half-amused-disgusted look on her face.
April took a large swig of her rouge liquid and remarked, “God, how could anyone be so disgusting? Is she really that desperate?"
She shook her head slightly; a smile on her pretty lips, then she finished the remaining liquid in her glass with a tiny sip. She placed the glass on her wooden bedside table, and stretched her arms over her head. A sigh escaped her lips followed by a small burp that made Bridget smile and Brooke giggle.
A white Persian cat poked its head in around the door, and then walked into the room. Its tail was stuck high in the air in a haughty way, swishing it from side to side like some girls did with their hips.
The snow white cat meowed and stretched before jumping up on the high bed. The kitty stepped over April’s legs and plopped itself onto to Brooke’s feet. Brooke’s brow knitted at the cat and she shoved it in the side.
“Get away you silly kitty,” She ordered, trying to remove it from her purple toe-nailed feet.
The cat hissed loudly and swiped a paw at Brooke’s hands. She pulled her hands back and sniffed at the angry red mark on one. Her face wrinkled up for a moment then she smirked happily; Brooke lifted up her feet with ease and dropped them back down.
“Brooke!” April cried hitting her leg after a loud hiss came out of the cat’s mouth. “Oh, come here Duchess,” She cooed picking up the cat.
Brooke stuck her tongue out at the cat. She had never liked Duchess; she always said that the cat had a grudge against her. April told Brooke many times before that the reason for that would be because she put Duchess in a pool when she was a kitten. Plus she always tortured her, but Brooke believed it was just because she was a bitch.
Brooke furrowed her professionally waxed eyebrows and rested her head against the foot of April's black, wooden headboard. She undid the top button of her blouse, that she was wearing with her pink lacy underwear, and sighed loudly crossing her legs.
Having been friends with Bridget and April for most of her life, Brooke did not mind the fact that she was only in her underwear and blouse, nor did the two other girls. They had seen each other naked on multiple occasions; it was nothing that made their cheeks burn red. They were sisters – well practically.
Brookelyn Walker, who everyone called Brooke, was defiantly the most natural looking of the three girls; with her fiery red-product free hair and porcelain skin that had yet to see a blemish. Her straight pearly whites had required three years with braces and one year with orthodontic headgear, but had turned out so nice that they almost looked fake. She had pretty blue eyes that had contacts covering them almost all the time, or Dolce and Gabbana glasses; and also a very lithe figure but with hardly any boobs.
April Fisher, on the other hand, had enough cushion to turn Brooke’s B cups into C’s and still be a double C herself. Yes, April was a bulging double D and she hated it! It turned every shopping trip into a hassle because she could never find something that fitted her boobs while also fitting her stomach.
However, April had a very sophisticated way with her long blond waves and blue-green eyes. Her rounded ivory face usually had some makeup upon it, but not so much that it looked caked on. Mostly only a touch of eye shadow to detail her lids, with a bit of mascara and eyeliner to complete the eyes; lip gloss was also a major priority. April was also more mature then two girls, the reason for that would be she was actually one year older. She started kindergartner a year late; because her mom didn’t think she was ready.
Bridget Granger stood out from her two best friends with her olive skin, the two other girls were pale with light hair and she was a Greek goddess. She had clear emerald green eyes and chestnut brown, loose curls. She was shorter then most girls her age, still only 5 foot 3 inches, while April and Brooke were both closer to 6 foot. She had plum lips, like Angelia Jolie’s, and had an amazing figure; lithe like Brooke, but with ample breasts.
Brooke’s blue-gray eyes opened wide, and turned their gaze to Bridget.
“Did she use ketchup?" Brooke’s voice came out sounding questionable but excited; like she had just heard word that her bitchy lacrosse coach was fired.
“Or mustard or relish or cheese? Any kind of lube?"
She sat up straight and waited for an answer to her highly stupid question. Bridget raised her brows and let out a laugh. April rolled her blue-green eyes and said in a very matter of fact tone:
“No Brooke, of course she didn't. It was raw. She couldn't use a boiled one for that."
Brooke nodded slowly, disappointment on her face, and finished her bittersweet wine in a gulp. Brooke couldn’t hold her liquor very well, and the wine was starting to show its affect on her. Holding her glass between her legs she put her hair in a loose ponytail and pushed her bangs back. She gingerly eased back against the headboard exhaling through her nose.
The three girls sat in a silence for a moment, doing their own thing. April poured some more wine for her self and then picked at her nails, while she thought about the lack of sleep they were getting. Bridget started texting on her purple Sidekick, which was almost glued to her hands and Brooke was dozing against a fluffy white pillow.
Bridget stopped texting and asked "Do we have anything to eat?"
"Probably, but Orlando’s aslee..."
"Wait, what happened to Pierre?" Bridget asked cutting off April.
April, her sister May, and their mother hardly had any clue what to do in a kitchen; the only thing they actually knew how to do was make coffee. After their mother, June burned down their old house five years ago she hired a live in chef to go along with their maid Nanny and driver, Al. She didn’t want another attempt of making a grilled cheese sandwich to turn into a flaming house.
April took the glass from between Brooke's legs; she placed it next to her alarm clock which flashed red numbers: two thirteen AM.
“He moved back to Paris like 5 days ago to be with his lov-er," She said pronouncing the word lover as two words, with a slight French accent.
Bridget's emerald eyes, lined with slightly smudged eyeliner, widened in surprise and amusement. "What? Pierre has a girlfriend?"
April's old chef was extremely feminine. The thought of him having a girlfriend was very odd to anyone who knew him; considering every time an actor came up in a conversation, he made comments about their butts. There was one time that the three girls had been in June’s room getting ready for a party and he came in and said,
“Oh. My. God! You girls look fabulous! But April, honey; blue so does not go with blue eyes.” He then walked about of the room humming something by Cyndi Lauper. The three girls had waited for Pierre to descend before they doubled over giggling at his nasally comment.
"No, his gay lover, he's defiantly gay. Mom walked in on him and his boyfriend kissing. So our hypothesis was proven to be right." April gave a sly smile. She took Duchess off her lap and pulled down her silky black nightshirt over her legs.
"Oh,” Bridget whined, “I loved Pierre. He was so sweet." She smiled at April who smirked back.
The only reason Bridget loved Pierre was because he always wore clothes that were in style and was the only one who could make Quiche the way she liked it.
Bridget placed her empty wine glass on April's other beside table; then shoved her curly chestnut brown hair up in a messy bun. She stretched out her muscular legs that were toned from running practically every day, and hopped off April’s bed. She opened up a drawer from April’s black dresser and took out a pair of red boxer shorts; she pulled off her skirt and slipped the shorts on over her silky underwear.
"Let's order Chinese then," She suggested climbing back up on April’s bed.
"I don't care, as long as we do not have hot-dogs," Brooke told Bridget in a groggy voice.
Bridget covered her mouth to make sure she didn't snort from laughing so hard and April shook her head grinning. She patted Brooke's foot and finished her wine.
"Don't worry, Brooke. We won’t be having them for a long time."
"Good," She said turning over on her side.
Bridget got into a giggling frenzy over that and it took her a few seconds to recover.
“I thought she was asleep," She whispered to April, her lips still turned upwards from laughing.
"I know; me too," April confessed to Bridget picking up her iPhone and pressing the digits to order Chinese food. Bridget sighed then smiled as she listened to April’s clear voice speaking into the phone.

Chapter Two: Four hours of sleep does not cure a hang over

Brooke lay on her stomach, listening to the blaring music. She moved her hand around looking for the source and began to pat the air next to her, but gradually moved it down until she was hitting something slightly hard.
“Stupid alarm clock,” She muttered half asleep. She moved her nails along the smooth surface in a search to end the annoying music.
Bridget’s giggling pinged against the walls of the room. “Stop it!” She cried.
Brooke stopped her search for the snooze button and removed her heavy head from the pillow. She stared at Bridget though bleary eyes and spoke with a tired voice,
“What?” She inquired.
Bridget stopped gasping for air after a laughing attack and let out a breath. “That was my foot, not an alarm clock” She informed Brooke, laughter still slightly noticeable in her voice.
“Oh,” Brooke said shortly. She sighed loudly, slightly dropping her head to the soft pillow; but she missed by an inch and bumped her head off April’s headboard.
“Ouch,” She said rubbing her red covered head. She groaned slightly and cautiously laid her head on the white pillow.
Bridget laughed at Brooke and gave her a pout. She sighed as she stretched her arms over the top of her head and wriggled her body like a belly dancer. She sat up straight and flicked the warm sheets aside before swinging her legs over the side of the bed.
Brooke sighed again and rolled over on her stomach. “Hit the snooze,” She commanded through a muffled voice.
Bridget pressed the black snooze button and Metro Station’s, “Shake it” ended. Brooke mumbled something under her breath, closing her eyes in an attempt to fall back to sleep.
Bridget walked out of April’s room and turned left. She sauntered into a large, chocolate brown bathroom, where she greeted April with a smile.
April stood in front of the mirror in a white blouse and black boy shorts, straightening her hair. She placed her Sedu straightening iron down and turned to her side, craning her neck to see the back of her hair. She stared at Bridget in the mirror.
“Do you need a shower?” she asked running a hand through her now silky, smooth and straight hair.
“Yes,” Bridget replied leaning against the creamy marble countertop.
“Does Brooke?” April turned to face Bridget.
Bridget shrugged her shoulders. “She went back to sleep when I left.”
April sighed. “Kay’, you go in May’s bathroom and May can go in mom’s. I’ll go wake, Brooke.”
Bridget nodded her head and left the bathroom leaving a flowery scent in her wake; even though she had just woken up. It was her signature scent, though no one really knew what it was.
April switched off her straightening iron and walked into her own room, where Brooke lay looking half dead. She opened the double doors to her walk-in closet and pulled one of her many royal blue skirts off a hanger. She slipped it on over her lacy underwear and rolled her eyes as a soft snore came from Brooke.
“Brooke, get up! We have to be in school in an hour,” She hissed to the sleeping red head, poking her sharply in the side. She stood next to the bed, her arms crossed under her double D chest.
Brooke popped open her blue-gray eyes and stared at the deep red walls of April’s bedroom. She moved her head slightly to look at April who was already dressed with a black bra visible through the thin cotton of her blouse.
“So?” Brooke asked sleepily rolling over on her back. She put a pillow on top of her face and crossed her arms under her perky B cups.
April plucked the fluffy pillow off Brooke’s face and dropped it to the floor.
“So? You have to get up and get showered,” She proclaimed to Brooke impatiently.
“April!” Brooke whined.
“Get up now and go shower,” April called walking out of her room.
Brooke flung an arm over her head and stared at the snow white ceiling. After several seconds of pondering and sniffing her armpits, Brooke decided that deodorant would not cut it. She didn’t always use this gross method to decide when to get a shower, only when she was extremely tired, or slightly hung-over.
Brooke heard April and May talking in the hall, then footsteps emerging. She quickly got up off her toned ass, and zoomed across the room. She was just about to walk out of April’s bedroom door in an attempt to get there before April when April showed up in the doorway. Brooke grinned at April who sighed, taking Brooke’s hand.
“Come on sweetie, you stink,” She admitted to Brooke as she walked her out of the room and into her own Private bathroom.
Brooke furrowed her brow and grumbled at April. “Well then,” She sniffed. April smirked and let go of Brooke’s hand once their feet touched the cool tiles.
The chocolate and cream bathroom contained a large stand up shower and a round bath tub with jets that was perfect for parties. It was used on many school nights when a study group turned into a party with alcoholic drinks and drunken teens.
“Get in the shower, I’m going to get towels from Nanny,” April told Brooke leaving the bathroom.
Brooke nodded her head and looked around April’s bathroom while she scratched the back of her leg with her other foot. She squinted her bleary eyes at her image in the wide mirror, running a hand through her hair and turned to walk into the shower, but there seemed to be something stopping her.
“Ouch!” She yelped rubbing her forehead and jumping back as if she were burned.
April came in through the door and dropped the towels that were in her hand on the floor. “Brooke! Why didn’t you open the door before you tried to go in?” She asked as she pulled open the glass shower door.
“I don’t have my contacts in,” Brooke argued rubbing her forehead vigorously.
April sighed. “Here, take this,” She said shoving an extra strength ibuprofen into Brooke’s hand. She began to undo the buttons on Brooke’s white blouse as Brooke slipped the pill in her mouth and gulped the glass of water.
Brooke pushed her hand away, “I can do it myself,” She informed April placing the glass on the counter. She tried to undo the next button; she fumbled for a few seconds before April finally took over.
“Turn around,” Brooke said hooking her thumb inside her pink underwear. She didn’t feel uncomfortable in front of April; she just wanted to prove that she could get undressed herself, even though her head was still throbbing.
April grinned to herself, knowing why Brooke was being stubborn and turned around so she was facing the wall and not Brooke. She smoothed out the royal blue viscose skirt that she was required to wear at her school.
She examined her manicured nails as Brooke’s grunting filled her ears. April bit her lip before a giggle escaped and before her boob’s popped out of her shirt from laughing so hard.
“My bra is like stuck of something,” Brooke said trying to undo the clasp on her cotton bra.
April smiled and took the clasp in her hands; she undid the bra in a quick second, and let Brooke pull it off.
Brooke rolled her eyes up to the ceiling and crossed her arms over her bare boobs. “Thanks,” She grumbled.
April let a small laugh out and reached her hand into the shower to turn the knob on cold.
“Get in,” April said stepping aside for Brooke who walked straight into the rushing water. She squealed as the icy water washed over her body.
“April, this water is fucking freezing!” She shouted
April placed two towels on the hook next to the shower and placed the other towel on the floor, so Brooke wouldn’t slip when she stepped out of the shower. She stood up looking in the mirror and said “Good, it will wake you up."
“That’s stupid!” Brooke shouted through the rushing water. She fiddled with the knob until she had the hot water on full blast and steam was fogging up the glass.
April let out an exasperated sigh, followed by a chuckle. “Oh my, Brooke.”

Chapter Three: Coffee is not for freshmen

“Morning my loves,” June Fisher sang. She sat down on a high bar stool; she turned to the stool next to her and pressed her lips to April’s temple
June was dressed in a soft white cashmere bathrobe with a short nightie underneath. June smiled as a wisp of golden blond hair fell into her face; she tucked it aside and looked at the three girl’s semi seriously.
“Did you all eat your bananas this morning?” She asked with a mischievous smile, her clear blue eyes twinkling in a teasing way.
April and Bridget laughed and nodded their heads. Brooke shook her head and made her mane of red hair swish.
“I don’t understand why I always have to eat a banana’s after I’ve been drinking,” Brooke confided. She bit off the top half of the banana – that April had handed her – and placed the rest on the counter.
“Because bananas have potassium,” April explained taking a sip of her sugared and creamed coffee. She ripped off a chunk of her everything bagel with cream cheese and popped it in her mouth.
April, Bridget and Brooke lived in a world very different from many seventeen and eighteen year olds. Their parents did not care if they drank, smoked, did drugs, slept with older men or had parties on school nights. Most of their parents had successful jobs that took away from their time with family, so the girls were basically free to do what they wished. However, the parents still did care and they still did parent – just in a different way.
June didn’t work, like all the successful woman of the world. Some days she didn’t have to get dressed until night fall. She lived from father’s money. It was given to her when she was fifteen because she was pregnant with April. The man who she had April with was ten years older then her, and left his family to be with June. Four years later June was pregnant again with April’s sister May and the man left June to be with his first family. Karma; it’s a bitch.
“Oh, that makes more sense now,” Brooke admitted sliding off her bar stool to make her self a cup of coffee with three spoonfuls of sugar.
April and Bridget exchanged arched eyebrow looks. They both grinned. Brooke had no idea what potassium was, both girls knew she didn’t, but they didn’t say anything because neither were in the mood to explain it to a hung-over Brooke Walker. June shook her head chuckling, knowing exactly what the girls were thinking about Brooke.
June looked up as she heard foot steps coming sow the stairs. She smiled brightly at the sight of the girl who had her eyes and butt. Her youngest daughter, May Fisher.
“Morning, sunshine,” June greeted.
May did not only have June’s eyes and ass; she was almost identical to her. However, her face was more round, her hair lighter; she was shorter and well… Aprils showers did not bring May her little flowers. May had yet to receive her gift from Mother Nature.
“Morning,” May said going over to the coffee pot to pour herself a cup. She filled it almost all the way to the top and started to add mounds of sugar.
April nudged Bridget and pointed to May with her eyes. Bridget smiled and poked the soft terry cloth of Brooke’s robe. She pointed to May with her eyes and they both turned their gaze towards May.
“When did you start drinking coffee?” April questioned with a hint of knowing in her voice. She took a sip of her own coffee and watched her baby sister add milk to her Winnie the Pooh mug.
Brooke smirked, and took a gulp of coffee.
May stomped her foot and glared at her sister.
“Since I became a freshman,” She whined with annoyance in her tone. She took a large mouthful of her overly sugared coffee and a disgusted look came over her face. She placed her cup on the counter and rushed to the sink to spit the gross coffee down the drain.
April giggled and finished her coffee. Bridget and Brooke laughed softly, not wanting to receive a death glare from May. April hopped off her barstool and walked over to the sink to place her mug in it. Bridget and Brooke followed, placing their mugs into the sink.
April walked over to the stairs and motioned for Brooke and Bridget to follow her.
“Do you want orange juice?” June asked.
May rolled her eyes.
“Mmhm.” She nodded dumping the remains of her disgusting coffee in the sink.
June smiled, slid off her chair and went over the kiss May’s forehead. She reached into the cupboard, planted a kiss next to May’s bang and poured up a tall glass of orange juice for her.
“Oh, May? If you want a ride to school, be ready in ten,” April called from the top of the stairs.
“Kay’,” May said grabbing a muffin from the basket on the counter. She slathered butter on her blueberry corn muffin and bit into the top half, finishing it with a gulp of orange juice.
June sat down next to May and tightened the silky tie on her robe. They both sat silently as May wolfed down her muffin as fast as she possibly could.
Bridget and Brooke came down the stairs, both wearing St. Alexander Livingston school uniforms: A white blouse with a royal blue tie and a matching royal blue viscose skirt. May had started freshman year the month before and the other three girls attended the senior class.
Bridget sat down next to May and smiled at her. May smiled back and swallowed the lump of muffin in her mouth.
“Did you have fun drinking last night?”
She took a gulp of orange juice and ripped off another piece of her buttered muffin.
“Yes. Two and a half bottles of Margaux usually does the trick,” Bridget mused to May with a sly smile as she texted on her beloved Sidekick.
June chuckled, and finished her coffee in the next mouthful. She walked over to the sink and rinsed her mug for Nanny.
April came down the stairs and started at May. “Are you almost ready?” She asked putting her oversized Prada bag on the counter top. She pulled out the keys to her BMW Z9 and slung her bag back over her shoulder.
“Yes,” May said through a mouthful of muffin. “I just have to brush my teeth.”
“Well hurry.”
May washed the muffin down with the orange juice left in her glass and bounded up the European style stairs to finish prepping for school.

I know it's the day before and I should have posted it early, but I had someone who was going to look at it, and I've been trying to get a hold of her and I can't. I just need a second opinion. Please!

Please don't double post, people will review as they review.

If you want reviews sooner, got to the Will Review For Food thread.

Not to mention, this is pretty long, it's going to take people a while to read it all the way through and then come up with a review.

Just be patient ^.^

Now, this isn't usually my genre of choice, so I'm going to avoid commenting on the actual plot.

You seem to lack a way of moving things along. When I read the first chapter, I wasn't sure what direction you were heading in with this. It all just seems mundane. You should start pushing things in a certain direction unless you plan on making this story a full fledged novel, in which case you don't have to be as fast paced.

Hope this helped.

Apparently you still want this critique though, lol, so here I am. :D

I believe this is slightly too long to do a line-by-line. I have read it, and not picked up any spelling mistakes, and I think you're intelligent enough to use a spell-check anyway. Besides, overall reviews are more helpful.

I

Your flow is nice. It's always horrible reading pieces that are awkwardly worded. You always try to describe things, the surroundings, whatever objects there are in a scene, what the people look like. That's also good. I've found that in contemporary fiction, people are always reluctant to describe, there seems to be this immunity to it. So good job on that. I found this amusing, in parts, though some of the humour was slightly gross/irrelevant, though that may be what you were aiming for. You obviously have thought these characters out. Also, you didn't have a big problem with telling instead of showing. You show rather than tell , which is frankly, wonderful.

What I've noticed - the characters seem a bit one-sided. Show characters in different lights when you get a chance. Show them interacting with different people, seeing the world through their own perspective, having their inner monologues, contradicting themselves(yet make sure these contradictions apply consistently and make sense). That way, the personalities of your characters will be so much more apparent and strong. Most importantly, they must get into conflicts, be they personal or interpersonal, because that is what makes a story interesting.

II

However, there is a very big problem with this piece, and that is: I don't care about your characters at all. For the moment, they seem 2-D, and frankly, like a group of superficial gossipers. I know that may sound harsh, and probably makes you want to slap me over the head with a giant fish. You love your characters, you've planned out their profile for months, you've practically got a version of them sitting on your desk and whispering in your ear. I know. I've been there, and then somebody explained what the problem with my character was, and my characterisation improved for the better.

 Get to the core of your character.
Establish their dreams, weaknesses, what sort of life do they want to live? Establish a goal for them, what would they like to achieve, what do they hate about themselves, what's their Achilles Heel? I think you should fill out one of those profile cards for your character in this instance. Silly questions like what their favourite memory is, what they want to be when they're older, what person do they secretly miss. It's fun, helpful, and gives you such insight into your characters' lives. Name? Age? Ethnicity? Height? Weight? Looks? Personal Habits? Unique Features? Pet Peeves? Sayings? Background events that helped shape life? Generally good or bad?

III

Remember to make your characters seem real. Nobody is perfect, including those overused "perfect" characters. If you want to capture some gritty, realistic characters, just look around in your own neighbourhood when you're out. Look carefully at everyone, you might find some people whose faces alone leak of an interesting character. Typically these people are different from the people one sees everyday at school or work. Don't let them see you staring. Don't jot anything down, just let it settle in. Pay particular attention to abnormalities. Try to sit behind or somewhere near (not next to) that person, and try to overhear anything they say. Pay attention to their facial expressions, and see what they pay the most attention to. Don't get caught. What to do once you know you've got someone interesting? Try blending in the personality of someone you understand very well (such as yourself) into the shell you have created through your observation.

Pay attention to conversations, be they your own or other people's. Make sure that the personality of your character shows in their talking and keep in mind that dialogue is one key factor to making your characters real, unless you intentionally include no dialogue in your story. Writing good dialogue is difficult. Examine movies and plays that you find realistic, memorable, etc. If you are impulsive in your character-making, and you go a lot more on feeling than planning and order, you're going to make a big melodramatic mess. If you come up with a character, write down some notes, keep adding stuff whenever you like, and come back to it after a little bit of time (couple of days) when you think you feel really clear-headed and ready to focus.

IV

Visual images of these girls - I'm so far getting police blotter descriptions, which is bad. It's like you're typing out profiles for each of them, and that's the only telling instead of showing incidents I've had during this. Example:

Brookelyn Walker, who everyone called Brooke, was defiantly the most natural looking of the three girls; with her fiery red-product free hair and porcelain skin that had yet to see a blemish. Her straight pearly whites had required three years with braces and one year with orthodontic headgear, but had turned out so nice that they almost looked fake. She had pretty blue eyes that had contacts covering them almost all the time, or Dolce and Gabbana glasses; and also a very lithe figure but with hardly any boobs.

Now let's try and edit that, so we won't be telling any more. Here's my edit, it's really rough and completely crapola, but it gives you an idea, eh? Now read my example, and try to do this with your descriptions of all the girls.

'Hey Brooke! Come over here," said April, calling Brookelyn Walker by her usual nickname. The girl complied, plopping her skinny, curve-free body on a cushion nearby. She brushed her fiery red hair away from her face and April sighed, watching her. "Oh Brooke," she moaned. "When are you going to join the rest of us in our battle against puberty?"

Brookelyn frowned. "April, just because you have curves the size of cantaloupes doesn't mean that..."
"Not that," April glared. "Your skin, Brooke. It's never going to see a Clearasil wipe in its life."
Brookelyn grinned, revealing straight pearly whites. "Thanks."

"I remember when you used to have those in braces," April remarked, nodding at Brookelyn's teeth.
Brooke laughed. "And that terrible headgear! What a freak I must have looked."

"Worth it," April quipped. "They turned out so nice they look almost fake."

Brooke pushed her D&G glasses up over her head, to reveal sparkling blue eyes. "You're too sweet, April."

V

Anyway, sorry this is so vague. I might come back later and do some nitpicks, if I have time. If I don't I hope you understand. This has potential and I'm only harsh because I care.

Good luck, keep up the good work!
