I put the story on a bit of a fast-forward because I’m still not sure what to put in the middle. So some things might not exactly make sense.

the title will make sense soon

It was junior year and things were getting off to a great start. Ben and I had been together a little over a year. I wouldn’t of had it any other way, I loved him with every fiber within me.

The bell rang, and everyone piled into there classrooms for their first class of the year. As I walked into our homeroom, I grinned as I saw Ben. I sat across from him.
“Hey,”I said.
He didn’t reply. He was staring at another girl who was sitting in the corner.
A blonde hair blue eyed girl who had this meek look on her face. I turned back to Ben, I kicked him. He snapped out of his daydream
“hey jasmine,” he said, and grinned.
“What was that?” I asked.
“What was what?” he asked, he tried to kiss me but I moved my head.
“Why were you staring at her?” I asked.
He glanced at the girl then back at me. He opened his mouth but nothing came out.
I got up and moved. I wasn’t sure if I moved because I was jealous or if I just didn’t want to get mad at him. I found a seat next to Gavin.
He could tell from my face something was wrong, “What’s up?” he asked.
I shrugged. Maybe nothing was wrong; I was probably just over reacting.
I looked over at Ben, he was upset. I hated to see him that way, but it wasn’t really my fault. He should have given me an explanation.

Before lunch, Ben pulled me into the music room to talk. He sat on a swivel chair and gestured for me to sit on his knee. I sat. I refused to look him in the eye; I played with his tie.
“I’m sorry,” he said.
I continued to play with his tie.
“I’m sorry for staring at that girl and not giving an explanation” he said.
I looked up at him, he had ‘forgive me’ written all over his face.
“Well, why were you staring?” I asked.
“I just thought she was pretty…okay?” he said. He grinned.
I nodded and smiled, “I forgive you” I said.

Our fingers were entangled when we entered the lunchroom. We sat down at a table with Gavin and a few other kids.
“So did you guys makeup and make out?” Gavin asked and smirked. I rolled my eyes.

Things were contradicting everything I thought. Everything was going downhill. Everyday, Ben & I would argue about senseless things. It drove me crazy because then he would go spill his guts out to Lynzie. The only person I had left was Chris; he was new this year, and nothing I could have ever asked for. He listened to everything I had to say without making a sarcastic remark, like Gavin always did.

Me and Ben had just gotten out of a long fight about his relationship with Lynzie. It left me in tears. Chris decided to take me on a walk so I could get away from the school. I did calm down but I just hated thinking of Ben know. How could things go so wrong?

As I walked we walked back. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Ben was on top of Lynzie with his tongue down her throat. There wasn’t much I could say for Chris and all he could do was give me a look of pity. I tried to erase that unfaithful act from my head as I walked up the stairs. My knees gave out half way and Chris offered to carry me back to my room.

Chris stayed with me until I fell asleep, or until he thought I was asleep. I couldn’t sleep much at all. What was going to happen to us? Even though he hurt me I wasn’t sure if I could handle not being with him.

The next day, I didn’t get out of bed. I couldn’t and I really didn’t want to see Ben. Around 12, there was a knock on my door. I opened it but slammed it shut. Ben opened the door. He sat on the end of bed next to me. He had nothing to say.

“I think we need a break…”he said quietly, he gulped.
I looked at him in disbelief. He cheated on me and now he’s dumping me? That made no sense to me.

I didn’t over react. I felt like I was going to be sick. I stood up and opened the door, I waited for him to leave. He headed out the door.
“I still lov-” I slammed the door in his face. I sank to the floor and took a deep breath. This was going to be a long year..

“hey jasmine,” he said, and grinned.
*Should be:*
"Hey Jasmine," he said, grinning.

Yeah this was ultimately confusing.... the rest, after Gavin smirking, seemed like a bit of a summary....
I didn't know how to feel about this, you deffinently had something going on, but I can't just say what...

"He headed out the door.
“I still lov-” I slammed the door in his face. I sank to the floor and took a deep breath. This was going to be a long year.. "

This... confused me... he's leaving, cue that, and what was with her cutting off? I mean... she cut herself off it seems and that's annoying to me. Only 1 period needed at the end.

This seems good although a bit broken up but don't you think it should go into romantic fiction? unless the story will change to a different point.
I used up all my sick days, so I'm calling in dead.

He's not dead, he's electroencephalographically challenged.

This should really be Ben and I. Sorry but this is a huge pet peeve of mine.

As Black Rose pointed out this seems to be more of a summary of a story then a story. I like the plot. I think it's a solid romance story. (and I'm a huge sucker for romance) As for turning it into a actual story...detail, detail, detail. More descriptions, more characterizations, pretty much more of everything. I'd love to see this re-posted into chapters. Good luck. :D
