This will be my first NaPo thread + first time participating!

These will just be random poems I make; I'll list what/who they're about! I don't know how to write poems very well- so this should help me practice a bit!

The color of my soul is you
Every shade, every hue
Every color in my soul has shaped
Right into you

My smile is so bright
When I look into your eyes
My life feels less empty
When I am by your side

Before I met you I was lost
Masking my presence
Behind the shadow
Of someone I once knew

Now that you're here
I can show my true colors
Because you're here
The color of my soul is you
