#1. 'Fury'

How can I let go of my anger,
How can I let go of my hate?

I’m so out of control;
How can I make this feeling abate?

Bitterness clamps down on me,
Its icy claws scraping.
Hope flickers, but no, it’s too late!

I honestly want it to end.
I wait for it to end, with a longing heart…
I wait.
Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
