I find this one rather questionable to be honest, but I need to catch up so got fling out poems no matter what now. It has it's good points, but also it's weak points.

April 22nd: History Lessons of Yore

People sing,
in chorus, in choir.
Surely then people
should hear, reply
to a thousand voices
in utter meloncholy.

The Bastilles are stormed,
the Watt is dead, the idea
of rights, gone over our head.
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

This is the sole personal one of today. It's nice, nothing much else to say about it.

April 23rd: Hit Again

Illness of mind,
of heart and soul,
feeling you trust
but shall never know.
Eros you trickster, you
shot again, am I fall under
your spell again?
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

This is by far my favourite of today. It's subtle and I love subtle, I just love it came about. And am so impressed with it. And... caught up!

April 24th: The Norse Know How to Party

Vikings in Valhalla shout out in cheer,
the wiles of Valkyries call for a clear,
a dance of sorts with many positions,
rainbows lights, built upon the sky's.
Grown cry in it splendour, there beards
being hit with the dust. Trotting towards
this way and that.

Blinding sights, are beautiful to see,
blinding bright, they all appear.
Of reds and blues and many
colours or hues.

The dance ends as Vikings turn
saddened, the Valkyries kiss
the air, and fly up far into
the air.

It's Aurora birthday today.
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

TheNewHero poem gave me the idea for this one, it's quite political, but I like it, wish I could play an instrument would want to do a musical version of this.

April 25th: Go Back To Sleep

With the coincide of the beeps,
we declare it's time for your usual
entertainment to stop. We apologize
for problems this brings, but we must
now share.

This is Public Service Annoucement of
the highest order, the world is beyond
down in the dumps, our politicians have
failed and this is a joke, the world at
war with itself, while the bergs vanish
and the corruption enchant the greed.

Natural disasters of the highest kind,
Volcanoes, Tsunamis and Hurricanes,
and still we have people screaming
'It's all fake!'

Evolution is ridiculed by Religion,
while they suggest Creationism makes
sense?

This is a Public Service Annoucement,
the news, spins and swings in it seductive
tango, bias and public opinion now fuel
the facts.

We now return to your usual show,
a bit of trite, jaded reality, and you
my friends can go back to sleep.

Shush little one, sleep and dream
of sheep.
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

This is a poem that message is obvious. But as ya can see with poem, it's unsure.

April 26th: Could it Be, Freedom She Sings?

Missing...
it was gone.
My heart locked,
my emotions wrought.

Freedom it seems,
was yellow and gay,
beautiful smile, with
touching eyes.

Roots that reach
deep and deeper.

Can I be free?
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

As ya notice lately, most of my poems have had general feel good about them, and they're less negative. Here's next one.

April 27th: A Knight Needs His Sword

It seems the past devil
is off my back, riding
me from choice to
choice.

Emotional breakdowns,
no longer plague a mind
in constant flux.

Riddle and answers,
wish to be known,
but nevermore tears
inflict his eyes.

His sword has lain,
thrown from his
sight. Beauty
in the metal
and the fine
blade.

To Victory!
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

This is about another friend, basically she says even if she didn't know it was about her, she knew it was about her.

April 28th: Masques of Magik

Trapped in a circle you didn't create
Pentagram patterns encircle without
care, truly you feel lost and not found,
truly you have come totally unbound.

Cursed you feel, by magik of evil and hate,
hate that taught you and trained you to
close the door.

The Witches and Warlocks, wear mask of
friends, wear masks of the past, present
and future. They cackle while you suffer
within the circle.

Blood pools from the eyes, as your whole
past plays on and on and on. Truly it seems
that evil has won.
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

Here's another about me, this is advice to me, advice keep hearing, I love Waterfalls so this metaphor I have here, largely appeals to me a lot.

April 29th: Swan Dive

Waterfall dives, through the air,
hit with a splash and swim up,
swim up, to strike the surface.

Blue and heavenly while on
your skin. Stroking the body,
and making you giggle.

Laugh and smile, paddle about,
knowing you took a chance,
the gamble been made you
can be sure and suddenly
the River feels hot.

Surrounded by people
and faces you know,
all took a dive, and
swam up.

Take a dive.

Take this dive

Dive now!
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

This poem is my completion of NaPo finally! The theme is obvious.

April 30th: Tree of Life

Beautiful roots, strike the heart,
wonderful sensation free the mind.
Prisoner of my self, I was, freed
by the power of personality you
evoke.

Freed from the past, I now walk,
the devil now long off my back.
A tender smile that touches
the soul. Frees from it all.

Bountiful branches reach high
out into the sky, like vast fingers
reaching Olympian heights.

Strong and gorgeous body to
behold. Resisting turmoil,
swaying to winds of change,
without a creak. A wonderful
display of human endurance.

Thunder and lightning keep
trying to fell, to destroy that
glorious spirit. Swayed backward
and forwards, to rip and tear. But
you don't care. You smile and
go on, through hellfire and storms.

The fruit you bear, kindness it springs,
conkers that bring joy, bring happiness
to all.

A true aberration of charity.

Hazel.
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

Surround yourself with people who are serious about being writers, and who will tell you, ‘Hey—you can do better than this.’ Who will be critical of your work, but also supportive. And who will not be competitive in a negative way.
