Now let's see...the Black Fleet Crisis trilogy is another one of those Star Wars books where Han, Leia, and Luke save the galaxy of some intergalactic threat (usually aliens). The Yevetha (scariest. SW. alien. ever.) want to rid the galaxy of "vermin," basically of all other species. Well, Han, Leia, and Luke really don't do anything in this trilogy. Luke runs around searching for his mom (which when this written, nobody knew about Padme, except probably George Lucas); Leia is about to be impeached. Han is...roaming around; Lando is stuck aboard an ancient alien vagabond. OVerall, this trilogy wasn't terribly exciting, just a typical generic "we have to save the galaxy" stuff. But in the character development zone, these books totally win. Luke finds a different path to solving problems (the non-violent approach); Leia finds her "inner strength." Lando...has his adventurous streak; Han...is his usual self. And Chewie pwns in this trilogy.
That's about all.
7/10 for the trilogy
