Part 3 (1,154 words) of my 3,436 words story I wrote. I tell you guys the amount of words so you won't run away from my wall of text below...(it is kinda a habit, really.)

(continued from part 2)
One month later…
“It is so BORING!” Titani shouted and rolled on one of the cushions on the couch. There is nothing good to watch on the TV, as usual. “The revolting of the Rabbit tribe on Moon base? Hah! What were they doing there anyway? Making rice cakes?” Titani said with the upper half of her body hanging from the cushion and watched the news downside up.
The Professor was late again today. “He had been late for a whole month already!” Titani rolled over as she said, “What is he doing anyway?” Titani rolled again, and suddenly the cushion turnover, letting her fell on the floor, then the cushion itself fell on top of Titani.
Titani struggling to push the cushion away, but it was too big and heavy for her. Maria was away today for maintenance, and her substitute – a lower class doll with lower AI – has been “accidentally” blown up by Titani because of annoyance. “Next time I’ll ask dad to change these into air cushions…” Titani thought as she tried in vain to move the big cushion. Then someone came and picked up the cushion and the exhausted Titani lying on the floor. Titani looked up to see the one who was holding her, and she saw… “Daddy!” Titani happily cried and flew up on the Professor shoulder. Professor Spear looked tired, half wearing his lab coat: one arm in the sleeve, the other hidden under the coat. But he still smiled with his daughter.
“Thank you dad! You saved me this time!” Titani joyfully said and place a tiny kiss on Professor’s cheek. “But why are you so late anyway dad? You have been late a lot recently.” Titani continued.
“I have a lot of work recently dear. And it was a long way to home.” Professor S. tiredly said and sat down on the couch.
“A long way to home?...Dad! Don’t tell me…” Titani glared at the Professor.
“The Teleporter is malfunctioned… again.” The professor looked away, smiling.
“Dad, you could make better excuses, you know?” Titani smiled as she saw her father’s smile. He could never smile naturally when he is nervous. But what was he hiding then?
“Heh, I know, I know… But what if I say that I have something for your birthday?” The professor turned back with a warm smile.
“You don’t mean…Awww...dad…you really have a birthday gift for me?” Titani shyly look down, drawing small circle with her foot, and then hopefully looked up to her father.
“No.” The warm smile on the professor’s face slid off in an instant.
Titani’s piercing glare returned to her eyes right at that instant. “…You meanie!” Titani shouted as she flew close to Professor S. and rapidly hit him with her small fists.
“Ha ha…Ouch! Ouch! I am sorry! I am just kidding! I do have a gift for you, so stop…Ouch!...hitting me please.” Professor S. cried out in Titani’s blind rage of hits.
Hearing that, Titani instantly stopped and sat down on the Professor’s shoulder, looking as cute and gentle as any girl could be.
“Please don’t give me that kind of look after you have just beating me…” Professor Spear complained as he tiredly looked at Titani.
“It was your own fault trying to tease me like that!” Titani said and stuck out her tongue at Professor.
The professor just shook his head and smiled, and then he said: “Well, this will be your greatest birthday gift ever!” As he said so, he raised the hand under his coat up, but something seem to be holding his coat with his hand.
“Come on, shy?” The professor said, and finally, from under his coat, a little arm appeared. A tiny arm with metallic blue color that have small round spheres instead of joints. An arm with the black numbers “01” on the side. That arm slowly pulled the professor’s coat aside, revealing a tiny silver-haired boy with thin insect-like wings made from fibreglass on his back. Another mechanical fairy.
The professor put the boy down on the couch, and then took Titani from his shoulder and put her beside the boy. Then he looked at both of them, cheerfully smiled and said: “I will let you two have a little time alone.” before he retreated to his room.
The two little fairies shyly looked down to their feet, waiting for the other to break the silence. After a long while, suddenly both of them start trying to say something:
“Umm…”
They stared at each other for a moment, and then broke out laughing. The tension was gone, because they realised that they were just like each other: shy and uneasy in front of someone they have just met. Titani let out a relaxing smile and let the newcomer spoke: “You first.”
The boy looked up to the ceiling, scratching the back of his head with his left hand. Titani noticed a crest resembled a sword on the boy’s hand, but before she could examine it more carefully, he put it down and start speaking:
“You know, the professor talked about you a lot while I was in the lab.”
“Really? What did he say?” Titani asked. She wanted to know what her father thinks about her. “Am I a bad girl to him?” Titani wondered.
“Well, let me remember… He told me that you are a little…wild. Hot-tempered, never listens to other people, and seemingly uncaring.”
“I knew it!” Titani grumbled in her mind and turn her blazing glare to the professor’s room.
“But…” The boy continued.
“Hmm?” Titani turned back to listen to the rest.
“He also told me that you are actually a very cute and delicate girl inside.”
“Oh? He really said that?” Titani looked back down to her feet. She felt bad that she was angry with the Professor, who had said good things about her.
“Yeah, he said you are the tsundere type.” The boy innocently told Titani, and she almost fell out of the couch.
“He talked about me like I am some anime character!” Titani cried out in her mind after she regained her balance and her blazing glare once again set on the professor’s room as if she wanted to burn it down to ashes.
“What is ‘tsundere’ anyway? I have just been created not long ago, so there are many things I didn’t know yet.” The boy curiously asked.
“Never mind about it. You will know it sooner or later as long as you staying in this house.” Titani tiredly replied as she turned back to the boy. “Did he say anything else about me?”Titani continued. She was planning to give Professor Spear a piece of her mind after this.
“Uhmm…He told me that you are very beautiful, and he was really proud that he had designed your body to look like that.”
“Look like a figurine, you mean?” Titani said, her hand clutched, and her body was trembling with anger. She was really, really going to give her “Daddy” a piece of her mind…and some metal punches.
“Well, I don’t know what a figurine is, so I don’t know. But you know what?” The boy answered as he getting closer to Titani.
“What?” Titani asked, but her eyes were still fixing on the professor’s room’ door. She was going to set off right after she finishing talking with the boy.
“You are…even more beautiful than I have imagined. And I am sure that those figurines won’t be as beautiful as you. Nothing will, at least in my eyes.” The boy gently said, as if they were just casual words.
But for Titani, those words were like keys, opening hidden doors inside her, and flooded her heart with a warm and pleasant feeling.
“Wh…what are you saying?” Titani turned back, totally forgot what she was going to do.
“Are you blushing?” The boy asked with a chuckle.
Titani felt like she was going to explode into bits at that very moment. It was just too embarrassing for her. But luckily, the boy stopped her:
“Whoa! Calm down or you will get over heated!”
“B…B…B…But ho…ho…how do you know? I…I mean…My skin is metal.” Titani spoke, with great difficulty, because even thinking straight was a problem to her then.
“Hmm…I don’t know…Maybe because I have heat sensor?” The boy said with an innocent smile.
“Wow, really?” Titani exclaimed in amazement. She didn’t have that installed.
“No, I’m kidding. I was just guessing. But you fell for it!” And the boy burst out laughing.
If the boy actually had a heat sensor, he would be worried, because Titani was so hot now that she could actually set aflame the couch they were sitting on.
“You…You meanie!” Titani stood up and was preparing to give this newcomer a taste of her metal punches, but then, she stopped. Somehow she just couldn’t be angry anymore at the sight of his bright smile and his shining green eyes that dazzled her. So she just sat down at the side of the couch and brooded.
But the new boy didn’t leave her alone. He came close to her with his cheerful smile and held out a hand.
“Hey, I am sorry. My name is Obero, and I will need you to show me around this world. So…Peace?”
Titani turned away. She really wanted to say “Yes!” , but her pride couldn’t let her do that. However, she still wanted a friend after all. Titani, still face away from Obero, held his hand and quietly agree: “Fine.”
“Thank you.” Obero smiled, and instead of helping Titani to stand up, he knelt down and kissed her hand.
“Hey! What are you doing?!”

From behind a small opening of his room’s door, Professor Spear watched the little fairies with a gentle smile. “Success more than expected.” he muttered. Then he slowly closed the door behind him, and with the click of the lock, his smile transformed into a sly grin. Threw away his lab coat, he took out from one of the two plastic bags that was hanging on his elbow a beautiful figurine of an anime girl and held it to his face. It was his heaven.

(End)

This piece was quite fun to write, and I kind of wanting to expand it into a long story. But it would means more work for me on top of my main project, "Little Blood Red Riding Hood" (currently at chapter 11) and two other stories waiting in line. So what do you guys think? Is this worthy to write more?

This is amazing. I had no idea this was going to turn into a love story. I'm not good with romance, but this was the best I've seen. When the mechanical arm popped out of the lab coat, I instantly knew a change in the plot. Even thought it was a short story, it reminded me of a well detailed novel. Congratulations to you Rain. And I forgot to mention I liked the little end you put in. Again, fantastic.

Thanks for reading to this part...I thought no one want to read this...well, I updated it with my more recent version of the story, describing more about the meeting of the mechanical fairies. Hope you like it! And I already started to write another longer story, featuring the same character in this story, but with the Little blood red riding hood project at hand, and also high school for a grade 11 to worry about, it might not comming out anytime soon...

Aw this was cute. Overall an adorable story. I love the concept and I think that someday when you have time you should try expanding this into a longer story. It has a lot of places it could go. :)

I'm still noticing some grammatical errors, but not as many. Go through and proof-read carefully to filter them out.

Great job, and I hope you take this further someday. :D
