Yeah, these artwork isn't all that great. I still need to progress more in my drawings. These pictures were drawn in Summer 2009. It was a long time ago (Not really) and I'm not really proud of these either. So yeah. I hope you like them. (What's the point in saying that when probably no one is going to read/see this)...(Yes, I have my doubts)

I like them I like your style with the more round-ish heads, it makes them look innocent. And anyway, It's a lot better than what I could accomplish in 2009 since... well I payed absolutely no attention to anime back then but seriously, I like these. Though you may not like them, I think they are very well drawn.

Those are really good. I agree with mickixoxo that the round heads really make the characters look innocent. I've only been watching anime for a few months myself, but it is awesome. Are these inspired from an anime or purely your own creation?

These are actually my own creation. The pirate one was a contest between me and my friend. And the other one was when I did half in school and half in the summer. I usually make my own creations and Thanks!
I like them. The heads are a bit odd for me (since I'm a realist anime artist [sometimes]), but you have a very unique style. Nice job.
I would love to see you testing out some shading and some hair detail/clothes detail, though. Maybe some color, too. That being said, maybe you ARE doing that now and I should look in your portfolio and yeah...
I'll go check that out, now. But, anyway, great job. *thumbs up* I wasn't even really drawing in 2009. I just got back to it in 2010... So, yes...
I like how the eye on the right side in the second picture is drawn. I'm not much of an anime expert, but I've read a couple of mangas and I think these are decent. You need to have some self-confidence! xP -Crescent

Hey Monica! Listen (or well read) to all of those awesome reviews! Everyone loves them and I love them too. They are awesome! The pirate one is my favorite. I love them and keep drawing! Oh and another thing- be proud of your art! It's awesome and don't worry if someone tells you otherwise. It's amazing.
Books are the ultimate Dumpees: put them down and they'll wait for you forever; pay attention to them and they always love you back. -John Green (An Abundance of Katherines)
Wow. I can say i REALLY like this. I also like the fact that you did them on lined refill =P Yes, I doodle in class a lot, but I cannot doodle like that. The only real thing I have to say here is that I just feel that something is a bit... off in the second one. I'm not sure what exactly, but something in my mind just tells me that something in it doesn't fit. Anyway, they are DEFINITELY awesome =)

Thanks you guys for the awesome comments. Yeah, I believe that my drawings is a bit off, but thanks for the advice. I appreciate your support. (Well, I don't think that's the right word, but I don't have anything that can replace that word, "support") Well, thanks, you guys!
I don't get why you are so hard on yourself. You are LEAGUES better than I am. I would be an emberassment if I posted ANY of my drawings. Just think of a 5 year olds handwriting with the mind of a 14 year old. Yes. Delete that image. Good job anyways. I look forward to seeing more of your art.
Yeah, these are quite good! Especially since you're 13 Honestly, I just started taking drawing seriously less than a year ago, so it's pretty impressive that you're thinking about it this early! It's awesome, you can gain a lot of experience. As for the drawings, they're really cute! Everything's good, but more shading would really bring it to life. I'd try looking up coloring tutorials online, those have really helped me out. And on the first one, the pirate hat isn't exactly sitting the right way on her head. It should be coming across her hair more, and not look like it's sitting in the background. We shouldn't be able to see the top of her head. Keep it up! If you want to ask me anything at all, PMs are great ~blacksheep
