I've never been much of a photo buff, but there are certain pictures I take that I absolutely fall in love with how it comes out. This was just one of those pictures that I felt like posting to share with everyone. My gold necklace :) Like everything else, this item has its own story to it. A story I may not have shared here, but the picture I have. So here it is. For those of you who are into photography, feel free to critique this however you may. Enjoy!

Hey there,

I like the contrast between the necklace and the table. The placing is also pretty good :) The gold necklace itself is really cute. The whole picture is just really cute :D

Can't wait to see more

Hi!

I agree completely on the way this came out, especially since you said you're not an expert either. The theme, the lighting ( my favorite part), and the background were all awesome! The only grudge I have against it is that it's a bit hard to look at because the angle that the photograph was taken at is awkward.

Otherwise, I enjoyed the picture and I think you should keep posting those good photos!

I kind of agree with Blueraspberry, it's a little awkward to look at. I also would have liked more light in the bottomright corner, just enough to see the texture of the table, or whatever it's on. it's a beautiful necklace, and the picture's pretty clear, the top of the chain on the right is a little fuzzy though. Good color contrast, It's a great photograph.

As Bluerasberry pointed out the lighting in this photo is amazing. I always find that dusky shading tends to really blend with gold. The color palette is exquisite, the dark warm colors blend harmoniously. The angle is slightly awkward due to brightness sort of diminishing the image on the necklace, all in all though a lovely picture, keep it up!

Hmm. This is a weird one. Not bad weird. But still not a good weird. The angle is good, It highlights the photo, and the crop is good also. The lighting, however, does not suite this photo well. It gives more of a glazed over feal, which does not fit with the shot. It is still good however

'Lo again, Smylin!

This is SO much better than the other one. I love the colours and how it has a great potential to tell a story.
The focus is mildly off and somehow, the fact that you see the chain on the left side more than on the right, it distracts my eye. I'm not sure why, but it seems like something's missing. And I would suggest experimenting with angles.

Good luck and keep clicking.

This is a cool pic! I like the colors, they're all really rich and deep. The necklace itself is really cool too. There was an interesting look in the gold that emphasized it, and yet the darkness was the majority of the picture. This was done really well, so good job.
