Very nice, it's only slightly blurry, but the overall composition did much for it (whether or not you planned it that way or not). First off, the cat has a very evil look in his gleaming eyes, almost like it's plotting to strangle you in your sleep someday (watch out) Secondly, the shoulders aren't very pulling, giving the effect of there being no shoulders at all, which makes the head look as if it were suspended in midair. I'm not sure if this is good or not, since it all depends on what you intended to picture to be, but I like it so far. The horizon (the dark bar near the top) is set perfectly to balance the kitty's head. Let's say that both the head and the dark bar have a pull to them, and since my eyes were pulled right off towards the head (even though it was not centered) the dark bar does a great deal of good to balance the composition. The grass at the very bottom of the picture (especially the lower-right) is completely in focus, so much that I can see the detail of individual blades, detail that would have done much better on the kitty's face.
All in all, you did good with composition. 7/10 Lighting was nice, especially with the long hairs above the right eye. 5/10 Focus...not so much, but that's just a matter of practice. 2/10
The colors are perfect and your kitty looks adorable. My only complaint, and something you can’t really fix at this point, would have been to nudge the camera over to catch maybe another inch of the cat. Where it cuts off, mid-way through the ear, seems odd. If the whole ear had been captured, this would have been perfect. Balance and focal point are two of the biggest things to have in any picture along with color and idea. With these things, you can have a truly amazing image.
Really great picture!

Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.
This is a really good picture, because the cat looks kind of like she (he?) is about to pounce or something. I love the composition too. The depth on the grass is really nice since you can see far into the background.
The only thing is, I would have liked to see just a tiny bit more of the cat too. It was a strange place to cut off, because you can't see her whole face.
Your title describes it perfectly. The cat you captured in the picture definitely has a feeling of stalking or generally hunting. I actually love the way the background is not obstructive, and becomes a bit blurry as it goes back. That keeps the focus on the cat which is a good thing. Overall really neat picture!
