This is my first tiger drawing, seriously! I love baby white tigers! I didn't have plenty of time to work on this so it's kind of rough? but the extra shading around the tiger was just for the tiger to stand out a bit more...it may not look right? Please review. Is there anything that doesn't look right to you? I love your opinions. Oh, and pretty please, if you like it please rate!

Come sail the stars with me Through the sky not through the sea Come sail the stars with me Take me hand and make believe Come sail the stars with me Through the sky not through the sea Come sail the stars with me Take me hand and make believe~JT Lloyd
Wow! I like it! It looks a bit of a cross between anime and realism - anime, in that it has very rough lines, a cartoonish expression, and that interesting background (which serves a great purpose, by the way!); realism, in that it has those extra details in the fur, paws, and face, making it look more like a baby tiger that hasn't lost its fluffy baby coat.
All I can say is keep drawing tigers. Your first one is fabulous!
"Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery." Timothy 4:14 KJV
That's a good piece of art. I like your detailing and I agree with what Ayumi says about the cross between realism and anime.
The one thing I didn't like and struck out from this is the triple outlining. Maybe if it were subtler, I wouldn't mind it so much. The eyes can be worked on. Right now, you can't really see the irises distinctly. For big cats, I'm pretty sure you can. Good work on the background. Give yourself a pat. Even though they have retractable claws, you could show a tiny mark/shading to indicate the presence of it. (Not a must, anyway.)
Well, good work. Keep drawing. Cheers, ~Lava

I really, really like this. For your first tiger, it certainly is impressive. I've never drawn one myself, they look way too hard!
I'm not too sure about the outlining of the tiger. Maybe it would be better if you made the outline of the figure bolder, so you didn't have to rely on the outline to make it stand out? However, the background is totally awesome.
Your shading is nice. Subtle, and really well done.
However, one thing that looked a tiny bit off to me were the proportions. It was quite small things, really, and certainly not life threatening! But I would say that perhaps the head could be a little bigger and more distinguishable from the neck? And maybe the legs and paws could be worked on a little more, they look slightly weird at the moment.
Great stuff!

"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."
Pat yourself on the back, because this is awesome for your first attempt at a tiger. I must say your drawing reminds me almost of early Asian representations of a tiger mixed in with more modern anime. It makes for a very interesting picture. Keep up the good work!
"You're free to leave me, but just don't deceive me. And please believe me when I say I love you."
OMG, this is awesome! I love baby tigers too! (and big cats in general, lol.)
One eye is darker than the other and this annoys me. Otherwise, the face is perfect! I adore you! And it's your first tiger drawing???
The tail doesn't seem quite thick enough. I'd thicken it up a little.
The stripes and the shading around - awesome! Very good idea. How long did this take you? Lucky I ducked back to the second page or I would ahve missed this gem!
Please keep drawing
