cute little boys

these are pics of my nephews. i added effects while passing away the time, and i hope you'll like them. the older one is named Ian Shen and his younger brother is Lyon Lee. aren't they cute?

They are defiantly adorable, I will tell you that! The only thing I don't like is something in the first picture.

The little boys face is too white. His eyes look sort of... alienish. They are so dark against such a white face, it doesn't look right. I think you should darken the picture just a tad bit so the face looks more human.

thanks for that, classy. actually, Lyon is really fair compared to Shen, so i guess the effect on the first photo isn't that good. but thanks for the suggestion.

How cuuuute! I like the first photo, but I think the blur is more or less overdone and I would tone it down a little, to keep some natural coloring going on in it.

The second photo seems snapshot-esque, so I don't really like it too much. It's okay, but there's nothing that catches my interest in it, and the coloring is a little off.

The last (as all of them are) is just adorable. How old is he?

I think these photos are taken at just the right angles to make the most out of their cuteness, so brilliantly well dones.

The personal nit-pick I have with them is the effect is very basic and I don't really think it does pictures 2 & 3 any favours, however, I do admit it works quite well with your first photograph.

Anyway keep up the great photography! And work on those effects and I'd like to see more!

thanks, june. the young one, lyon, is actually two years old. he'll turn three this march.

The first and the third are good. The second is just a snapshot; it doesn't look like it's photography material. Sorry, if it sounds harsh.
Anyway, I just wanted to point the exposure in both is really high. Mellow it down a bit.
And the blur, try using Adobe Photoshop or if you don't have it, some other photo-editing software. There'll be plenty of free downloads. This looks like some Picase blur, which gives the immediate effect of un-professionalism.(Is that a word?? 0o)

Anyway, really cute pictures. Good job with angles. Keep it up.

Sorry for being hard telle, but...
1st one: Way too bright you should darken it from the edges, since you said you added the effect i expect you should know how to add darkening effects.
2nd one: This one on the other hand is a little dark, i suggest brightening the middle a bit, and feathering.
3rd one: Just like the first one it is bright, but not to the extend where it seems that the boy is colorless. try using the burn tool on photo shop if you have it, to slighting darken the boy, and sharpen some parts of it where its a bit blurry.

Okay. These are pretty good. Not great.
I don't like the second picture. He's drinking. Not really something interesting to capture.
I don't like the editing, either. But my favorite is the last one if I had to choose.
Work on what Ahms and the others said to improve.
