What if those fell on someone's head? Ouch! I can kinda feel them, crashing down on me. But anyways, I like the first picture and the last one. It would be cool if you took a picture where one shattered, and you capture the pieces falling. I don't know if that can be done, but that would make an awesome pic.

They're brilliant photos.Living in Chennai(in India,) I have never seen icicles and it doesn't EVER snow here, so these just look pretty awesome to me!!
The first is may favourite, obviously because of the gleam of light and the contrast.
The 2nd is kind of blurred and fuzzy and makes it uninteresting.
The 3rd is ok-ish, I feel because the background kind of reduces the striking quality of the icicles
The 4th is better than the 3rd. It's really nice, especially when you can see all the rings. (I never knew icicles could look so beautiful!)
The 5th is equally good.
Though I think you could have cropped the bottom of the 4th picture by about 1.25 cms, so that the focus on the icicles makes the picture look even better.
And the picture of you(I'm presuming) with the icicles makes me exclaim "Oh my God!"
I never knew icicles were that huge. I had always imagined them as smaller growths of ice.!
Really cool shots!

1) The transparency of the ice against the black was just utterly amazing. Perhaps you could crop out the roof? Way cool in any case. My ultimate favorite of all of them.
3) There was quite a lot of background noise (well, images) in this one, but the way the center icicle looked was just too much win to be ignored. Seriously, those are so clear! *is jealous* We just get little fingerlength ones here, and only if we are incredibly lucky. Incredibly lucky.
6) The little random green light reflection thingy over to the right was kind of weird (again, nothing cropping can't fix) but I loved the squiggly orange lines in the background.
All in all, I am overwhelmed with jealousy. Seriously, I wish I had icicles like that. And the pictures are really nice. 2 and 5 are a bit blurry and 4 is just really noisy, but they are some wicked awesome icicles.
*thumbs up* You definitely earned your bragging rights with those suckers!
They are huge! Great photos too My favourites are the first and the last. They're just so artistic and beautiful. They are big really big :O I agree with Angel, you should so have a hard hat sign I live in Scotland, we never get anything of any interest Wasn't it freezing to hold? I would like... drop it on my foot or something Great photos
Really really cool! We get icicles like that here! I live in MN so ya know, it's pretty coolz! I really love the ones with the orangy lights in the background! Keep taking winter pictures please! Because I really love it!
THANKS!
