THis is actually my frist time drawing any animal like creature! I did this when I got bored in study hall and then finished the scales when the power was out and I had some daylight.

not bad. It has a good design to it. I also like the way you didn't do an actual side view. It looks like the dragon is looking near the camera, but not really. Nice!
Work on the horns, they look dull and plain compared to everything else.

I agree the horns look like something simple standing in a complex area.
Do something with them, like more shading perhaps?

This is really your first fantasy creature? Wow.

Hmm, the only thing I can really see is that the shading is off. You don't really have a single light source casting predictable shadows; instead you have a couple of light sources, one from the top and one from the front.

I like the horns. Well, I guess I am just different then everybody else.
I like the sadness in its face.
And this is your first ever fantasy creature eh?
Well you did a pretty great job on it then!
I shook my head when I saw that you drew every single scale.
Wow.
I give you a 4/5.

I agree with you all on the horns! They are pretty bland and yes, I did draw every scale and man did my hand hurt after I was done! Any way when I drew it it was pretty flat, the only light sourse was coming from the bottom was it. . ? But the extra light is all coming from the scanner. Ugh, why cant they make my drawings look as semi-good as they do in real life?! But thank you for the reviews every one. . now to get to work on shading the horns. . .

Oui! He looks like a mighty fierce one!

The horns are good; the one underneath just looks a bit... displaced? It doesn't look like it belongs there. As for the ones on the top, just add a bit of shading to them and make them pop a bit. I would also say if you have the patience to do it, lol, clean up the background a bit. The extra pencil marks take away from the main focus of the drawing.

Overall, good job. Especially for a first!
