Okay. So apparently this is not a poem nor a lovely story you could have thought it was.

I've been thinking a lot lately, especially about the things that im currently involved in. -_-

I have something that maybe you guys could ponder on about too. Well just in case you'd want to anyway but mainly I just want to know if either of these is wrong. Then that perhaps would mean I've wronged a lot of those who believed. :(

Is it a crime not having the passion to pursue something you're very good at?

Is it a crime to pursue what you are passionate for despite lacking the skill for it?

Deep. But true. This could turn into a debate if we aren't careful lol.

But I like the simplicity of the sentences and how they bring so much out so quickly. And show us how much we are hiding...

Is it a crime not having the passion to pursue something you're very good at?

Answering the question...No, I don't think it is a crime at all. :) We all choose things over another, whether we are good at them or not.

I'm not sure if you were more concentrating on the sentences or the questions...so i'll talk about both.

The first sentence is great but I feel that this bit:
you're very good at

breaks the concentration and forcefullness of the question to the reader. Maybe no contraction...?

Is it a crime to pursue what you are passionate for despite lacking the skill for it?

To answer...honestly, I believe no. I think deep down, if we are attracted to something, then we are naturally going to be good at it. Just sometimes we need to believe that and go for it.

The sentence - perfect. :)

Very nice.

Peace V :P

Interesting, but I do think you should expand this to become a poem. You obviously have many deep thoughts, so add some more. Add examples. Whatever you want.

This could be a great poem, but right now the AN is longer than the piece. I know it's in other fiction, but I think this should be expanded.

Wow! This is really deep! I can't stop thinking about it!

Great Job once again!

I'll try to review more of your stuff, though my schedule is mighty full.

My answer would be that you should do what you want to. I'm not good at sports at all. *sigh* but i still swim competitively. I am good at writing (i think), and i love it. joining here was my first step in pursuing it. Also, how do you become good at a passion or develo your skills on it without first pursuing it? A very thought-provoking post. Loved reading it.

Dang, thought-provoking! You should just do what you like to do, and don't worry about all that other stuff!

If you don't like to do it, then just don't do it! Don't bend over backwards just to do something if you hate it, regardless of weather or not you are good at it!

Go ahead and just write a poem about these topics, if you like poetry! If you just don't want to, then fine, no biggie!

Umm... just one question: what do you mean bye the offending part?

Again, thought-provoking! :smt026 :smt026

Wow...

"Is it a crime not having the passion to pursue something you're very good at?"

No. I am good at lots of things, but some of I totally don't like.

If you don't like it, then don't do it unless you have to. If you don't like what you are good at, then just get good at something else. Don't bust yourself over things that you would spit at the thought of doing. Trust me, it's not worth it!

"Is it a crime to pursue what you are passionate for despite lacking the skill for it?"

No. I am very passionate about art, even though just about everything that I try to draw/paint looks mutated, lol!

You should do what you like, and, even if you are no good at it, something just might suddenly click in your brain that makes you good at it. It is a crime, however, to make yourself believe that you like what you are doing, even though you may hate it. It only deludes your soul, you spirit, your moral, and your sanity.

Anyway, back to the main point, you should probably try to write a poem about these topics, if you like poetry, that is.

Sorry for any confusion! :D
