Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a great hero, a child of a Greek or Roman God? Well, welcome to Camp Demi-God, home of the children of such Gods. Here the children of Jupiter and Zeus sleep in the same Summer camp cabin and tournaments are a seasonly happenings. Are you ready to become a hero? Both Roman and Greek Demi-Gods live here, for safety and convinence, but there is an age-long rivalry between the two cultures. They tend to clash, and often go aganist each other for challenges. Ran by the activity director Chiron the centaur and Head of Security Lupa the wolf, Camp Demi-God promises the safest- and most fun- home for Demi-Gods. A Sample Schedule of a Daily Camper: 8:00 Breakfast & Cabin Inspection 9:00-10:00 Sword & Shield– Cabin Challenge, full combat armor required. 10:00-11:00 Archery w/Chiron – target practice: proper use of flaming arrows. 11:00-1:00 Winged Horseback Riding – first hour trail, picnic lunch, second hour aerial combat 1:00-2:00 Monster Assault Techniques – Ethiopian Dracones: Their Teeth, Claws, and Feeding Habits 2:00-4:00 FREE CHOICE Arts & Crafts w/Hephaestus and Vulcan Cabin – Make your own Bronze Weapon *or* Canoe Races w/Naiads – 1st Place Prize: 20 drachma credit at the Camp Store *or* Climbing Wall w/satyrs – “The Clashing Rocks” 4:00-5:00 Swim & Beach Time w/the Nereids — bring sunscreen, discus, javelin, etc. 5:00-6:00 Free Time, Volleyball, Cabin Clean-up 6:00 Dinner & Announcements 7:00-9:00 Capture the Flag – combat gear required, all magical items allowed. 9:00-10:00 Sing-a-long and bonfire. Fireworks every Friday. 10:00 Prepare for bed – Lights out by 11:00 Schedule of Other (Planned) Activities: Poison Paint Ball Gun Wars- Day after we start Tournament-Three Days after we start Tournament Dance- Four Days after we start Capture the flag, chariot races to suit. The Camp: Each child of a certain God and their Roman and Greek half-siblings live in a certain cabin. They are shaped in a horse-shoe shaped round with the twelve Olympian God, even the ones that don't have kids. http://images.wikia.com/olympians/images/9/9a/Cabins_at_camp_half-blood.jpg Behind that, a giant field called 'The field of Mars' looms for war games. Beyond that, a small forest. The cabin is equipped with the normal camping activities- a volleyball net, a river for canoeing, etc. To the left of the main camp area, a Roman style Coliseum sits for Tournaments. Mostly, use your imaginations. Cabins: Each cabin, to avoid prejudice, has a name besides the (Examp.) Jupiter/Zeus cabin. Most kids just call it by their own personal parent's name. Hera and Artemis do NOT get kids- no excuses. Sorry. Only four charecters per cabins (plus unsaid amount of spairs). Preferably Two Greek, Two Roman. Kids will be listed here. You know what I mean. Also, Roman/Greek is okay. Also, if it's Roman/Greek with the same cabin parent- that's aloud as well. -Normal YWS rules -Watch cussing; don't make it a second language. Seriously. -No Minor God's children. I'm sorry, but I think it'll be hectic enough without them. -Try to keep even ratio's even. (Boy to girl, Greek to Roman.) -Please Know a little about mythology. As long as you can understand the majority of my Cabin titles, you should be fine! Don't be afraid to ask questions! -You can have up to three charecters -KEEP PROFILES SLIGHTLY DETAILED. I like them, and short ones don't give anyone much. - The time rule here is Two real days=One Camp day. Do you get it? So although the Paint Ball Wars will be happening on DAY TWO in real life, it'll be the same day at camp.
