Fight For Peace It all started with the war. Actually, to be exact, it started with an idea. It seemed smart at first, almost too smart, but no one paid attention to the impossible amount of intellect put into these little creations until it was too late and they were running away from the thing they bought for 99.99$ at Wal-Mart. Only few people ever sensed something wrong with the "Life Changing Advancement in Technology" and everybody already thought those few were crazy, so no help there. And why would they listen anyway? It did everything, a simple fact that should have been a put off immediately. Nothing should be able to do everything . It was too well made. Too afforadble. Too perfect. Too good to be true. Too good to be good. They killed everybody. Almost everybody. Mostly everybody. Yeah, they killed everyone. Anyone important anyway. Living was almost an insult to your worth. They thought you weren't a threat so they left you to cry in the corner, holding your knees and trying not to smell blood, death, and bodily extractions. You weren't good enough for them to kill. You were only a kid so they left you there and thought they'd let the mental images of your parents dying eat away your brain until you commited suicide. And they would laugh as they watched you slit your throat with broken glass and crack monotone jokes about how they made you watch when they put their steel hands through your dad's chest and ripped out his heart. They're having fun. It's about time for that fun to stop. All we wanted was peace. We were just too scared to fight for it. It's time we grew up. ~ Clarification: The Government has created little robots that at once helped and made the world a better place. It was actually a plot to destroy the Earth and when the Government thought it time they activated the robots' real purpose. The robots killed everyone the Government saw as a threat, leaving only children, weak adults, and the sick elderly. You and a bunch of other children have put together a secret resistance force geared towards destroying the robot and restoring peace to the world, or at least where they live. I noticed Tyr heading out. We were supposed to follow the buddy system. He couldn't just leave like that. I followed him out, jogging to catch up.
"Go back to the hideout," he said in a commanding tone. I slowed, but didn't head back.
"Where you going?" I ask. He didn't answer. He just kept on walking. I follow.
