Welcome to Eye for an Eye. Here we do what we do best: assassination, theft, espionage, computer hacking, etc. All to help those who have been hurt. We only accept cases that are justified; someone stole your money, patent, hurt a family member, etc. Please send us a dossier of the person(s), what they have done, and what you want us to do to them.

It's modern day.
You are an assassin, thief, spy, hacker, (or you can be an 'earwig' which assists the 'frontiers'), or a 'young gun' (all as above only ages 10-15) etc. Working for E.F.A.E.
Really there is no plot to this storybook, except for what goes on in the protagonists' lives, the jobs, and behind the scenes.

Age: 17

Personality: Jackie is very serious about her work, and will do anything to support her orphaned twin brothers. The job pays enough money to get them food, and she will do it. She is competitive, and wild and crazy. She can be kind of rude, and when she likes someone, she'll always play hard to get.

History/Background: Her mom died after her twin brothers were born, when she was twelve. Soon after her father died, leaving them as orphans. She worked as a Young Gun before she became an assassin. The job pays enough to support her brothers, such as feeding them, clothing them, and getting them to go to school. Her brothers and her job are her whole life.

Likes: Alternative music, the night, rain, and she loves turkey sandwiches.

Dislikes: Rap music, mustard, pickles, goatheads.

Personality:Proud. Red wants nothing more than to be the best, and to her, hurting her pride is worse than death. She likes to be in charge, and she likes everything to be perfect. It's her way or the highway, and if you embarrass her, prepare to die. She can be a loyal friend or a bloodthirsty enemy, depending on who you are.

History/Background:Red grew up in various Foster homes, being abused physically and emotionally.She found E.F.A.E. when a stranger dropped her a hint- and EFAE helped her get revenge on her extremely abusive foster dad, and get the money from her birth parent's wills (they're dead) that she rightfully deserved. She now works as an assassin, using her street smarts to take down all who have hurt somebody else.

Likes: Bright colors, the smell of rain and blood, warm sweaters, animals, and her trusty "tool" kit- a kit that basically contains many types of weapons and poisons, etc.

Dislikes:Abusive people, thieves, whiners, annoying people, stuck-ups, and anyone who tries to control her.

Personality: Very straight forward. A natural-born leader. She only jokes when it's time to. She is very outgoing and friendly; she has to be. She secretly grieves the death of her father. Wicked smart.

History/Background: Her father (Tony Nash) was the ring leader of EFAE since Katy was born. She lives the high-life and won't settle for anything but the best. She was pushed into Young Guns at age 10 and became a trained assassin, spy and thief. She was pushed to leadership when her father died three months ago.

Likes: High fashion, diamonds, being pretty, doing her job, and music.

Dislikes: Snobby rich people, people who hurt others for an unjustifiable reason, fake prada.

Name: Konstantin Zakharov

Call name (for the earwigs): Retriever

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Personality: Konstantin never liked other people much. He prefers to work alone, only speaks when he has to for some reason or other, and generally disdains company if he can afford to. He works with others if it is expedient to do so, and he can take orders, but he would rather just get whatever job he has been assigned done. He has a strong and unshakeable set of morals, which frequently coincide neatly with those of E.F.A.E. He will not kill unless defending himself, or if someone has violated some part of his code. He often chooses to punish such transgressions with unnecessary force, as crossing those lines are the worst crime anyone can commit in his eyes.

History/Background: The Zakharov family had a string of bad luck that extended all the way back to Tsarist Russia, a whole gamut of ancestors who were killed or 'vanished' in the service of Russia and Ukraine. By the time Konstantin was born, they had been impoverished and returned to their roots in Ukraine. Growing up there, Konstantin's eyes were forced open to a harsh reality - the prevalence of human trafficking in his region. His family had tried to shelter him for as long as possible, but when his sister was kidnapped on her way home from school one afternoon, Konstantin found himself with no choice but to acknowledge its existence, and to try to do something about it. E.F.A.E. noticed him when he was already embroiled in his crusade against them, and though they were unable to help him find his sister, they were able to help him to track down and kill every trafficker who had been through his region around that time.

Likes: 'Moral' assignments (ones that have some grounding in what he believes in), classical music, silence, philosophy, rain and cold weather.

Dislikes: "Noise", as he terms almost any non-classical music, immoral people, liars, excess, the heat.

Name: Lauren Panar

Gender: Female

Age: (young gun: 10-15, others 16+) A few weeks shy of 18

Personality: Pretty quiet other than when she is going to spy. She gets a secret rush from it. Don't get her mad or she will kick your butt to Antartica. If you infuriate her, she'll put a bullet through your head.

History/Background: She's really a spy but has no real problem killing or stealing. She's only killed two people in her life though, a man who tried to kidnap her younger sister and the man who suceceed in kidnapping and killing her younger sister. Her father was in the CIA and on the brink of jailing a head terrorist, a terorrist group kidnapped, tortured him, his wife and two daughters. The two daughters made it out, Lauren and her younger sister Amy. Their parents weren't as lucky. They were immediatley put into Witness Protection Servces but were found and Amy was almost kidnapped once. Lauren was 16 at the time and tracked where she was, killed the man who took Amy and they were re-located again. The second time, about a year later, Amy was killed before Lauren could get to her. Lauren once again killed the man who took her, this time slowly and painfully then walked out never to be seen again. Almost a year later, she showed up at the compound, told them who she was and was welcomed with warm arms. She's been staying there ever since.

Personality: Jonathan is a joker, but can be serious when he is on a mission. Sometimes, his humor changes to seriousness so suddenly, it can end up offending people. If you are his friend, he's a nice guy, if your his next job...well, not so much.

History/Background: Jonathan got into the theft buisness in grade school. It all started with pitpocking the bullies lunchmoney, and then, as he grew older, Eye for an Eye noticed him and took him in, giving him a professional job as a theft.

Age: (young gun: 10-15, others 16+) 24

Personality: Cam is a daredevil. He can't say no to a dare, ever but is very loyal. If there's a risky way he'll take it. He likes challenges so he might attract attention to himself just to make everything harder for people. A bit of a flirt and very outgoing. Fiercely protective of his friends.

History/Background: Cam comes from a middle-class family whose quickly rising business was burned to the ground by more powerful people when he was 15. He lost his parents and a sibling in that fire. He and his older brother are the only ones left, and God knows where his older brother is. He was taken in by Katy's father and raised as one of his own. Like Katy, he was pushed into Young Guns, where he quickly rose to become one of the top thieves and hackers.

Likes: Fun, dares, sweets, gadgets, adventure, sports, adrenaline rushes

I swiveled around in my chair. The feeling of being 'Commander' was uncomfortable. But what was the company supposed to do without a leader?
Dad, I wish you were here... my mind become clouded with memories of my father. He was not the nicest person I've met, but certainly not the most evil.
I skimmed through the stack of applications, most of them the good old 'My husband cheated with his secretary. I want him dead!' stories. I tossed the 'No' pile into the garbage, and started going through the 'Maybe'. My trance was broken by a knock on my door.
I checked my appearance quickly and answered, "Come in!".
Through the door came Jonathan, my Vice-President. Along with Cameron, my 'adopted brother' since my dad took him in.

Jonathan

"What's up Katy?" I asked. I took in Katy's smile, I loved her smile, though it wasn't seen as often as it had been three months ago, before her dad had died.

Gosh, it had to be hard, I mean...being commander and all, so much pressure.

"Hey Jonathan," she sighed, swiveling in the chair.

"Do you...got any jobs for anyone? Like I should maybe take the assignments to?"

She nodded slowly and handed me a small folder. "Wow, are we not doing so well of buisness?"

"No, I just haven't typed everything up yet." I gave her a look of concern but she shook her head. "Jonathan, we're fine. I'm just tired."

Jackie

"Okay, I have to get to work boys, there are some leftovers in the fridge, I won't be back till late so get your homework done and get to bed. I want to see you in your bed after I get home, got it?" I asked, putting my black hair into a messy bun.

"Yeah, got it," my two brothers, Aaron and Jerom said, staring at the crappy TV. I looked around at the shabby apartment one last time before I walked out the door. Gosh, did I sound like mom or what? But, I guess I kinda had to. I mean, I was all my brothers had, someone had to take care of them. But if only, if only they knew where I really worked.

Cameron

"Jonathan, we're fine. I'm just tired."

And just like that I know Jon is about to make a move on Katy. No way am I going to let him. Besides, the mood in this room is way too somber. I sit on Dad - I mean Katy's - table, one foot dangling over the edge of the desk and the other one stepping on the pile of folders that were yet untouched, picking up one from the yes file.

"This looks interesting, K," I say.

"My sister's diamond ring was stolen by my other sister, who's an assassin. Help. That ring is the key to the family fortune."

It was a challenge, to be sure. An assassin as an enemy? Brand new.

Katy frowned. "I already picked something out."

"Spare me some of the team, then. Or maybe just lend me Konstantin. Or Jackie. We'll be good enough for this job." I shrugged.

Katy's frown deepens. I can tell she's not sure what to do.

"Don't worry. We can handle this on our own. Right Jon?" I slap him on the arm with the folder I'm holding.

"Konstantin, Jackie and Cam...How could it go wrong?" he murmurs.

I can think of a hundred and one ways and I'm sure he can think of two thousand but neither of us say anything to Katy. It would be better for her to rest, not take on any jobs for a while.
