Sam sat near the entrance, her knees pulled to her chest as Tsune looked at the burn spots. "You're an idiot. You know that?" Tsune commented. Sam layed her ears flat and hit him inbetween his floppy ears. He landed and the ground whining.
"You're the idiot," she growled, looking back at the falling rain. "The rain burns my skin, incase your wondering. It's a curse." She said, to nobody inparticular, "I disobeyed someone a long time ago and was cursed. I can get in water like in a lake or river but, rain burns."
I watched her, taking in everything she was saying.
Cursed? How cruel...of course, every curse has a counter curse.
"Do you want something done about it? I might could...figure out a counter for it, to neutralize it?" I shrugged. "Or, everytime it rains, I can take on dragon form and shield you with my wings. I'm certainly big enough."
**All I've got, sorry.**
"Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery." Timothy 4:14 KJV
"Oh no, that's fine. I won't be here very long. As soon as the rain lets up I've got to continue North." Sammy smiled nervously. "Thanks anyway though." She stood and wiped her pants off, Keira already at her side and Tsune on his back. The rain slowly let up, leaving completely. She jumped on Keira's back, patting him on his head and scratching him between the ears.
