Auggie-

I looked around my new surroundings, standing cautiously. No longer was I seated in the cafe with Lucille, but instead surrounded by some sort of gray nothingness, a black ring of fire circling me. A lone figure stood a few feet away.

"Who...where am I?"

The figure chuckled, an unsettling and familiar sound. I felt my throat, but the sound had not come from me.

I looked closer. The person looked exactly like me. Perhaps a bit older, and was dressed in much older clothing, but he was me nonetheless.

"I can't tell you where you are for the simple fact I don't know myself," a voice that wasn't my voice said, a ghost of a smile on the face that wasn't mine.

"Who are you?" I demanded harshly. "What am I doing here?"

His smile widened. My answer was brought in a wave of pain that took me to my knees. I gasped.

"Recieving the memories that are true to you," Rekhyt said.

((Lucille))

Blackness, eternal floating, never ending. Three thoughts flashed past Lucille. He feet landed on an unseen boundary between her and the rest of the darkness. A ray of light appeared from above her, it seemed to come out of nothing. She peered through light to the outside of it. A musical laugh that sounded familiar emitted from the darkness.

"Who is it?" Lucille demanded.

"Who else but yourself?" came the reply.

A woman stepped out from the darkness, garbed in robes the orange color of the autumn leaves. The sash holding it around her waist was scarlet and her long silver hair was tied back by a ribbon of the same color. Her golden eyes danced playfully as she looked Lucille over.

"You've grown." she inclined her head approvingly.

Lucille tilted her head sideways a bit, "Grown?"

The woman nodded and held her hand out to Lucille. Lucille eyed it and reluctantly grasped her hand.

Theri.....

"It's time to rule, youngling. Our empire needs you."

"No! Father! We need a healer!"

"Come on Rek! We'll miss our first serving duty!"

----------------------------------------

Lucille jolted up and banged her leg on the coffee table. Theri? she thought to herself, I was Theri?

She glanced at Auggie, still knocked out on the table. Or rather, Rekhyt. We had been such close friends, she sighed.

[Farleigh]

"Khai?" she shook his shoulders, but he didn't move.

"What's going on?" Farleigh whispered.

She looked around the cafe and noticed that the other demons had fallen too. They all looked like they were just sleeping, but how they got that way was the odd part. They all just... fell down on the table.

"Khai!" shouted Farleigh, shaking his shoulders again and checking his pulse. He was alive, but unresponsive.

Sartharis-

I laid a hand on the girls shoulder. "He'll be fine," I reassured her before turning at the sound of a soft bang. The girl who was sitting next to the boy I had checked earlier had regained consciousness and now stood. She stared down at him with an expression I couldn't even begin to fathom.

I padded over softly. "Are you alright?"

She turned. Thankfully, my hood was still pulled low over my face, leaving only my lips and chin out of the shadows. Though I had only seen her one or twice in my life, when she was much younger, I now recognized her as Theri, the oldest of the siblings. I knew she'd looked familiar...

"I'm...fine," she replied, frowning slightly.

Auggie (Rekhyt)-

The darkness receded slowly, along with the image of the laughing...me...and the halo of black fire. I didn't open my eyes immediately, but instead stretched out with my other senses, while watching the newly acquired memories that I knew already.

"Come on, Rek! Hurry up or you'll be late, and you know how much father hates that!"

"Coming, coming..."

"Are you alright?" asked a voice near me, though I could tell it wasn't directed at me.

"Why are you on the roof, Rek?"

"Why not?"

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing. Everything. Depends on how you look at it."

"I'm...fine," another voice said, answering the first.

"Don't chicken out on my after I'm gone, guys."

...

"Don't everyone rush forward at once. I'll go next."

I slowly opened my eyes, letting the memories fade to the back of my mind. Then I realized that I must've been in some odd position after falling unconscious and instinctively jumped up, hitting my knee on the table. I muttered a soft curse before looking over at Lucille...

"Theri?" I blinked, ignoring the figure next to her.

Seda-

Khy touched the arm that had been bruised just a little while ago.

"Dad, why does 'Lexer hate me?"

He felt his fathers hands on his shoulders, strong and caring.

"He doesn't hate you Khy. He just doesn't want to be involved with you and your siblings. And he lashes out at you because you persist in following him around. Now I've got a question for you Khy, why do you look up to the brother that hurts you?"

Khy looked up at his father as if it should be obvious. "Cause I want be strong like him, so I can protect everyone."

Seda came to with a jolt and glanced around the room. Now that he remembered everything he recognized the others. His eyes slid over Luna, and Leian his twin. Before he spotted Theri and Rek who were awake already They glanced over and saw him. "Khy?"

((Lucille/Theri))

Lucille nodded, "Theri. And your Rekhyt." Auggie grinned. They turned to look at another demon who woke up.

"Khy?" They asked simultaneously.

Khylaris smiled warmly and nodded.

"Mom?!" Came a startled voice. Auggie was backing up slightly, staring at the woman who had talked to Lucille earlier.

She nodded, "Sartharis."

So you remember./i], a cool voice stated.

Lucille looked around, "Who...?"

A sigh answered, [i]Who else but yourself?

Lucille scowled, Theri was back, Do you need something? Lucille asked.

Yes, as a matter of fact. Get you and your siblings out of the building right now before you're all gassed.

Lucille almost laughed at the calmness in Theri's voice. Then she realized she was serious. She frantically looked around the Cafe, "Brothers and sisters! We need to leave. Now!"

Her siblings, who had woken, blinked at her, "Let's go!" yelled Auggie.

Together they ran, "Why are we leaving?" asked Lunatheris. Lucille smiled, she knew her name.

"Theri said we're gonna be gassed if we don't." Replied Lucille, opening the door and waiting for everyone to get out.

"Quick! To my apartment. It's three blocks down..."

"Reed Street?" asked Auggie.

Lucille nodded, noticing everyones eyes were the same, color and shape, "I'll make sure we're not followed. Hurry!"

Sartharis-

I stopped, pushing Theri forward. "No! You don't know how to deal with them! You and...," I glanced at the boy who had once been my son, "Rekhyt...need to get everyone and go hide somewhere safe. Stay there until I come for you. There are those who have searched for you for the past six hundred years who would rather hurt you than help, and I don't want to see you all die again..."

Theri hesitated before nodding slowly, yelling commands to the others to get moving. Rekhyt - or Auggie - stopped again and turned back to me for a moment before running after the others without so much as a word. But I had understood.

Grimly, I turned to face whatever would come.

Auggie/Rekhyt-

I ran to catch up to Theri - or Lucille - in the front of the group. I almost laughed at the thought that I no longer knew what to call her. Almost.

The others ran behind us. I knew all their names now, or at least their Royal names. To think that I had been a Royal demon once...

We, Rekhyt's voice corrected me in my head.

"Right, we," I muttered.

Seda-

Okay it was really annoying to run while trying not laugh. He just couldn't his head wrapped around the irony. "So." He thought. "My human mom tried to kill me because she thought I was a demon. And she was actually right?"

They turned the corner fast and Seda noticed that the Falon was still with him. She looked scared and confused, he slowed down and grabbed her hand so she wouldn't fall behind.

Falon----

Falon followed them, she didn't know what to do, but something was urgent. She ran a little faster. "What's going on?" She asked Seda looking at him. She looked foreward again so she wouldn't fall. She didn't know what she had gotten herself mixed up into, but it seemed that all these people were related, and hadn't known it. That was immpossible, or so she thought. She guessed things happened differently down on earth.

*yeah but I'm just gunna make it up as I go along*

Dean-

Dean watched as the Royals woke up one by one realising the truth. He smiled to himself at the expression on the other people's faces in the cafe as random people passed out, woke up, and all ran out together. He followed the odd group until they came to an apartment complex. He wasn't exactly sure what his plan was, so he stood outside and waited for a call from Chloe. He needed to make sure no other demons who wanted to hurt them, found them.
