Poke Poke

(Hurray! ACTION!!!)


Ren-

"GO Momo!" Ren yelled.

She threw her pokeball and out came a meowth. Momo licked her paw and gave a devious look towards Naomi.

"Char Char Char (You chicken)"

"She's battling! I can't ask her now!"

"Char Char Charmander Char Charmander (Leave a note in her backpack)

"Okay. I will" Peter grabbed a piece of paper and began to write. "Dear Naomi...would you go to the dance with me? Peter. There you happy?"

"Charmander (it's a start)" Peter went to her backpack and left it on top of it.

Naomi~

Naomi laughed lightly, as Shinx jumped in front of her and waved at Momo. "Shinx! Use Dazzle!" Naomi shouted, without waiting. Shinx fur glew brightly, blinding Momo temporarily.

"Now used head but!" Shinx charged at Momo, headbutting her and causing her to tumble backwards.

Peter and Charmander strode through the woods, both silent. Peter was too nervous to talk. He was a chicken just like Charmander had said. All these years he had been running away from it, but he knew it would eventually come. Charmander's voice broke the silence.

"Char Char Char Charmander Char Char (Pokemon...wild Pokemon)" Peter looked up. Sure enough, sleeping in a tree not to far away was a Meowth.

"Oh my god...it looks just like the one dad used to have." His father had always been a fan of raising Meowths and Persian's. Peter had always liked the small cat like pokemon and how they could sometimes talk. "I need that Meowth." He motioned for Charmander to attack. "Okay Charmander...Use Scratch!" Charmander lept up into the air and hit the snoozing Meowth.

"OW!" Meowth flew through the air and landed on the ground. "What the-?" Charmander cut the Meowth off by hitting him square in the face with ember. Dazed the Meowth toppled over on to the ground. Charmander used bite on the Meowth to make sure it stayed down.

"Yes!" Peter ran over to the Meowth with a Pokeball in hand.

"Urgh..." The Meowth sputtered. "You could of just asked to keep me. I'm not a monster or anything." It struggled to get to it's feet. "I'm your's as long as you get me a hot meal."

"Good enough." Peter held out the Pokeball and captured the Meowth. He smiled and let the creature out. "So, how long have you been talking?"

"Oh...quite awhile. Let's talk later...what do you guys have to eat around here?"

"Um...sure I guess. First we should get you to a Pokemon Center."

"Uh...I'm okay." Peter looked curiously at the Meowth.

"Is something wrong?" Charmander shrieked and pointed to a sign on a tree. The sign had a picture of a Meowth on it and had a caption below: "A very dangerous Meowth is on the loose in the region. He is wanted for looting, kidnapping, and trespassing on private property. If found report to the nearest Pokemon Center."

"WHAT?!?!?!? I CAUGHT A CRIMINAL POKEMON!"

"Keep your voice down kid. And hey, I ain't no criminal. I'll explain it all to you in awhile."

Ren-

"Momo use Shock wave!"

The meowth sent a wave of electricity towards Shinx sending into the air ti dodge the attack.

Naomi~

"Shinx! Spin in the air and use Headbutt again!" Shinx spun and hit the meowth in the head, sending her spiraling backwards, again.

"Momo! Use Claw!" Ren shouted. Momo ran fowards and clawed Shinx across the face.

"Headbutt!" Ran and Naomi shouted at the same time. Both pokemon charged at each other, headfirst.

"No Shinx do-" Naomi began but got caught off as the two pokemon collided and flew backwards.

Ren and Naomi quickly returned their pokemon to their ball, praising them at the same time.

"Poochyena! Go!" Naomi called out as Poochyena formed out of the poke ball.

*oh no MOMO!!!*

Ren-

She reached into her pocket." GO BERRY!"

Out came out her Beedrill.

" Berry use twin needle!" Ren yelled.

"Bite!" Naomie shouted.

Berry stabbed with his 2 needle arms, but Poochyena dodged and grabbed onto Berry's arm just bellow the needle. Berry shacked its arm but the Poochyena wouldn't let go.

"Needle arm!" Ren shouted.

Berry stabbed Poochyena and sent it flying." Poochyena return!" Naomi yelled.

SHe called out Electrike." Use Thunder bolt!" She yelled.

Instantly Berry went down. "Cr@p." Ren moaned.

She pulled out a black pokeball. A smile came on her face." GO TWILI!" She yelled.

Naomi~

'Shit.' She thought and smiled, mockingly. "Electrike! Use Spark!" Naomi yelled. A spark of light whist around Twili, catching her on the back, and paralyzing her, temporarily. "Good! Now use Quick Attack!" Electrike ran at Twili, full speed, knocking her back. This of course defeted the paralysis.

Ren-

Twili was her most powerful pokemon. After the quick attack from Electrike, Twili got up with ease.

"Use shadow ball!" Ren commanded.

A dark orb began to form from Twili's mouth. Then she shot it foreward at Electrike- sending it through the air.

Shinx: Shay Shay
Poochyena: Sather
Electrike: Ellie *

Naomi~

Ellie flew backwards, hitting a tree. "Ellie!" Naomi began to run toward the Electrike, but Ellie stood up slowly, shaking her head left and right. Naomi smiled slightly as Ellie walked to her side. "You okay?" She asked quickly.

"Ell (Fine.)" Ellie shook it off and stared at Ren.

"Alright Ellie! Use Thunder!" A ball of electricity began forming in Ellie mouth as she shot it at Twili, causing her to fly backwards. Wow! Amazing! Alright Ellie! A small smile formed on Naomi's face as she watched Twili stand, shaking a little. Electrike was her strongest, even though she'd had Shay Shay longer. They were both close to evolving, which made Naomi even prouder.

"Use Iron Tail!" Naomi shouted. Ellie charged at Twilli again, missing as Twili jumped upwards. Damn.

Ren-

Boredom grew within Ren. She wished to end this." Twili use Hyper Beam!"

A huge beam of light and power emirgded from Twili's mouth and headed towards Ellie.


After this move, weather it fails or not the battle is over.

Naomi~

Twili shot a Hyper Beam at Ellie, hitting her. Naomi shut her eyes as her pokemon flew back and hit the same tree. This time, not moving. "Good job." She whispered as she returned Ellie to her ball.

"Fun." Ren stated, returning Twili to her black pokeball.

"Yes, it was. Good job." Naomi ran up to Ren and shook her hand. "We gotta get these guys to a pokemon center." Ren nodded and they started to grab thier bags. That's when she noticed it, a peice of paper was folded up on her bag, Naomi, written on the front. Naomi opened it slowly, read everything that Peter had wrote,

"Dear Naomi, would you go to the dance with me?
Peter

"What is it?" Ren asked.

"A note from Peter." She replied, smiling a little. "I've gotta find him." Naomi took off, running in the direction of Peter's house. She dropped her pokemon off at the Pokemon Center and ran straight to Peter's house.

"Peter! Peter you home?" She called as she banged on the door.

Ren-

She told Naomi she would be in the area where the Poke Center was.(in Celedon City ok). Ren's pokemon were still resting along with Naomi's so she decide to go shopping.

"Naomi...you stupid girl..." Ren sighed.

Ren wasn't stupid. She knew that Peter loved her from the very start. Even if they had just met. It was just a fact of life. Naomi was a nieve girl, and well it was annoying for Ren. But she learned to live with it.

Ren entered the store.

Naomi~

Naomi continued to bang on Peter's door, her fists began to ache. I...guess he's not...home. Naomi turned and walked towards the Poke Center, picking up her still sleeping pokemon. She sighed and returned them to their Pokeballs. Shay Shay opened her eyes as Naomi finished returning Electrike. "Shinx? (What's wrong?)" Shay Shay asked, leaping to Naomi's shoulder.

"Nothing. I think we're going to go back home for now." Naomi replied, a little sadness in her voice.

"Shin Shi Shinx. (What about the ball?)" Shay Shay asked, shifting on her paws. Naomi shrugged and walked out of the pokemon center.

Ren-

Hours went by and Naomi stilled hadn't been seen.

"Where is she?" Ren wondered.

About an hour ago Ren got her pokemon back. She sighed.

"Maybe I should go find her myself."
