Through Wolf Eyes

Ryder had to hurry. Hassar was on the hunt, and once he started he won't stop till he gets his prey or he is killed. Kuri looked back to see the huge brown wolf closing in.

"Ryder you have to hurry." Kuri said in his ear.

He started to pick up speed and the distance between Hassar and them grew. Ryder, and Kuri had to get back to Fire and Dustin. It was the only way.

Fire~

Fire watched as Ryder turned the corner, Kuri on his back and Hassar close behind.

She quickly turned into a human and reached for the Fang on her belt. Ryder and Kuri passed her as she charged at Hassar. The white dagger dug into his chest, but not killing him.

"I shall kill you with my own fangs, next time we meet! Let this be a lesson to you...Do not mess with Kuri." Fire drew her lips back to show her teeth. Hassar lay there, on the ground, limp.

"Let's hurry and get out of here before his buddies come." Dustin growled. They all nodded and took off towards the Royal's den.

Ryder seemed to almost glide when he ran. Kuri couldn't help but fall asleep on his back. Fire and Dustin were close behind them. They were heading to the Royal's den.
Dustin watched Kuri resting on Ryder's back.

"Lucky b@sterd." He moaned.

He wanted to have Kuri on his back, resting peacefully. Fire watched Dustin closely. She didn't know if he was going to become a threat or not.

Hassar-

The huge brown wolf forced himself up.

"Damn it...damn it..." He moaned.

It wasn't fair. He couldn't relax with out her. Having her was the only way for him to be at peace, and if he ate her he would become all powerful and sacure the hatred between humans and wolves.

Fire~

Fire ran after Ryder, Dustin nexted to her. He silently cursed Ryder and Fire began to laugh lightly.

Ryder-

Ryder's legs burned as he continued at full speed. He made a tight turn and came face to face with Fire's pack. He stopped and shifted in time to catch Kuri so she didn't fall off.



**Sorry, all I had**

The group had finally made it to Fire's pack. Now Kuri was safe from Hassar, but Ryder nosticed something. The same obsessed look in Hassar's eyes were also in some of the other pack memebers.

Fire~

Fire and Dustin stood in front of Ryder and Kuri, growling lightly. "They are friendly. If any of you land a paw on them I'll tear you apart quicker than a wolverine would." Fire snarled. She turned away from the pack and led her friends to a large cave.

"You can sleep in here. There's a cot Kuri can sleep on. Ryder and Dustin you two can sleep on the floor." Fire growled and walked away towards the King and Queen's den.

After a quick talk with her adoptive mom and dad, she returned to her cave and layed down at the mouth of it.

Kuri couldn't help but fall asleep on the cot in the warmth of the cave. Ryder and Dustin lied down by the fire watching over her. Fire kept an eye on them both. She didn't want a fight.

Fire~

Fire sighed and sauntered towards the river. 'So smelly.' She complained. She hadn't taken a bath in days. She walked up to a small ledge and jumped down, near a small waterfall. Fire, Dustin, and Hassar were the only one who knew where this place was. She ducked through the waterfall and walked towards the back of the cave. Two candles sat on one side and two more on the other side. Fire quickly lit the candles and slipped out of her clothes, sliding into the steaming water. She could now see the steam that rose out of the water. Fire smiled to herself and slid deeper into the water.

Ryder-

Ryder walked close to the bed Kuri was in, shifted to his wolf form and fell asleep below where her head was. He wasn't about to let anyone close enough to her to hurt her. His ears stayed alert as he slowly drifted off to sleep.


*GRRR*

Kuri-

The sleeping red head felt so relaxed here. THe peacefulness of this place almost seemed like it would never end. But like all things it did. The scowls of wolves could be heard all around the cave. They could not resist anymore. A pleasing scent of lilacs filled thier noses and drove them mad.

Kuri-

Fire rushed outside- sensing the intent to kill from her comrads." What are you all doing?" She yelled.

One of them walked towards her." Give us the human and we won't kill you or the outsiders."

Fire looked so angry." How dare you talk to your future ruler like that! With such disrespect!"

He growled. Fire understood now. Why Icy had wanted to keep Kuri human. Kuri's blood is made for human and wolves to get along, but a mix's blood would drive it mad. Because of her blood, no her pack's mixed blood she was going to loose everything.

**Fine Maki...God I was hoping to revive this...**

Fire~

Fire growled threateningly and glared at the wolf through slitted eyes. "I dare you to take another step," she spat, lowering her head, her feet still planted where she stood. The gray wolf sneered and took a pawstep forward. Fire snickered and lunged, tackling him to the ground. The wolf kicked up to her stomach, scratching her sensitive underside. Fire let out a snarling yelp and nipped his ear, ripping part of it off.

After a few minutes of fighting Fire transformed and glared at the barely lifefilled wolf. She doctored him up and carried him into the medicine den. "You really don't want to fight me again elder," she growled and ducked out of the den, headed back towards her own. She crawled onto the top of it and layed down, her whole body throbbing.

Dustin~

Dustin glared at the red wolf, wanting to yank him off the cot. He flexed his claws, glaring through slitted lids.
